The main property is fenced in, with a large back field great for tent camping, and an orchard to explore that can also double as hammock camping. There is parking for cars and bikes. We try to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible, and encourage our guests to compost, recycle, and dispose of waste accordingly. Please note we have dogs, including a Livestock Guardian Dog that does bark to alert us of new people and warn off would be predators. Great spot to stop for a few days and catch up on some remote work on the road. We invited Brendan to stop by and got a personal tour of the Sandbox beach volleyball facility and new amphitheater currently under construction. Really close to historic Mystic and Stonington, as well as, some pleasant short hikes! Brendan was very nice and accommodating. We're hoping to pass through next year to see the progress on the theater project!

We loved Patricia’s little camp. It was so cozy and welcoming. It was exactly what we were looking for. She knew it was our anniversary and upon arrival we walked in to candles lit scattered hearts and a cute heart pillow on the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were well stocked with xtra blankets if needed. The lake view was peaceful and beautiful. Well stocked with firewood also. Patricia call the morning after we checked in to make sure we settled in ok and she was so sweet. We never had to call her throughout our 3 night stay. We definitely will return

It is run as a small non-profit animal sanctuary and is home to rescued chickens, goats, and pigs, as well as two humans and their dog and cat companions. The main property is fenced in, with a large back field great for tent camping, and an orchard to explore that can also double as hammock camping. There is parking for cars and bikes. We try to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible, and encourage our guests to compost, recycle, and dispose of waste accordingly. Please note we have dogs, including a Livestock Guardian Dog that does bark to alert us of new people and warn off would be predators.
