The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds. The hot tub is located next to the owner's home. Guests are welcome to use this at any time but must reserve and pay for a time slot. * Book this through the Extras * We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Miles of hiking, rail trail, single-track mountain biking, and kayaking are all right here! See our kayak and bike rentals under extras! Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby. Note: Monthly rental discounts are available. Welcome to creek-side camping on our picturesque 16 acre farm! Here are a few ground rules to help with your stay -PLEASE READ SO NONE OF THIS IS A SURPRISE-: -Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs. We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!) - OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there. -This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together. -This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers. - Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property. -Due to virtually every booking asking for earlier arrival and later departure times, we are strictly adhering to the posted check in and check out times. You can enjoy the following on our sites: - Free, unlimited wood for your campfires. Each site comes with a fire ring. - Seating arrangements (picnic table, wrought iron loungers and chairs and wood benches). - Charming outhouse situated over a septic certified holding tank with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

In 1990, Scott and Sue Miller purchased a 16-acre farm in Elizabethtown, Pa with the intentions of starting a select cut Christmas tree farm. 15,000 trees were purchased and planted on the farm. Six years later, the first tree was sold and since then, the farm has expanded its operations to Bernville, Pa. Camp on our 16 acre Christmas tree farm in an Amish neighbors with horses. Within 30 minute drive to Hershey park, Mt Gretna , Lebanon, Lancaster, Harrisburg, York. Enjoy hiking and biking trails nearby and the many attractions. We have excellent cell reception on our farm. Great view for star gazing and sunsets. Firewood available for purchase. We have a stone parking lot for RV campers. Two sites can also accommodate RV’s. We will reserve these sites. Tent campers can set up in the trees and lanes. An outdoor portable toilet is available and water is available at an outside spigot. We are open April through October. We have 6 sites available with fire pits. You are able to drive and park next to the site. Sites are available first come first served. Four persons per site additional $5 per night fee for extra guests. We sell Miller’s Christmas tree farms stickers. Our sites have excellent cell coverage. In the event we are not home when you arrive, there is a site map on the light pole near the porta pot. We will try to notify you in advance if any sites are taken.

Weekend Trip to Conowingo Creek Campsite
We had a lovely fall weekend glamping on Gini’s land. The site is beautiful and well maintained and the tent is very comfortable and filled with everything you could want even for cold weather camping. Gini’s hospitality was also exceptional (going out of their way to provide extra blankets and hot water bottles to one of our party who camped in a tent), and the land is perfect to walk through. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom safely. Will definitely be back!

I loved the little cabinette because it lets so much light in. It was a great place to stash my stuff too. It’s a beautiful location and convenient setup, not far from civilization. Fire pit and cooking grate worked well for me. Karen also makes a wonderful breakfast at the B&B which campers can opt into. Next time I’m headed up that way, I hope to try out the B&B for a night.

We loved this property! Everything from the air field, airplane, tree house, feeding of the animals. We stayed in our own camper on the property. The hook ups are perfect. Electrical sewer and water! The views of the hills are amazing! The property owners are very friendly and helpful.

Decent glamping set up with electricity and a wood stove that keeps the tent warm if needed (we stayed at the rustic tent setup). Make sure to bring / be ready to scout for tinder including matches or a lighter. Can sleep four if two people are willing to share the larger bed.

Tent camping @ Hipville was excellent. The area was well maintained with many paths cutting across the property. The water level was a bit low for effective fishing, but we dropped some lines anyway. There was very limited prepared wood available when we arrived, and we needed to acquire more in the morning (not a difficult prospect).

Weekend Trip to Beespoke Farms
Michael’s campsite is one of the best camping sites I’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend it to campers of all ages. Michael was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and nice. The scenery is beautiful and the outhouse is sufficient and not too far away. The site is located on an active farm so there is an occasional truck or farm vehicle that comes by, but otherwise it is very private as there are no other sites next to it. I will definitely be booking this place again in the future!

Scotts tree farm is a tranquil and accessible camping location. We enjoyed our time at the PA renn faire during the day and this spots is a welcome retreat after a long day. Cant wait until next years stay.

My first Hipcampers stay and it was such a great experience. My daughter and I had tix for a Murder Mystery at Bubes Brewery (a must if you have never gone) and didn’t want to drive late at night after the show so we booked at Scott’s Christmas Tree farm. We actually stayed in our SUV, but really wish we would have stayed in a tent because the grass was so soft and fluffy. PP was clean and the sites were a good distance from each other. A beautiful sunrise to wake up to too. Will be back soon.

In 1990, Scott and Sue Miller purchased a 16-acre farm in Elizabethtown, Pa with the intentions of starting a select cut Christmas tree farm. 15,000 trees were purchased and planted on the farm. Six years later, the first tree was sold and since then, the farm has expanded its operations to Bernville, Pa. Camp on our 16 acre Christmas tree farm in an Amish neighbors with horses. Within 30 minute drive to Hershey park, Mt Gretna , Lebanon, Lancaster, Harrisburg, York. Enjoy hiking and biking trails nearby and the many attractions. We have excellent cell reception on our farm. Great view for star gazing and sunsets. Firewood available for purchase. We have a stone parking lot for RV campers. Two sites can also accommodate RV’s. We will reserve these sites. Tent campers can set up in the trees and lanes. An outdoor portable toilet is available and water is available at an outside spigot. We are open April through October. We have 6 sites available with fire pits. You are able to drive and park next to the site. Sites are available first come first served. Four persons per site additional $5 per night fee for extra guests. We sell Miller’s Christmas tree farms stickers. Our sites have excellent cell coverage. In the event we are not home when you arrive, there is a site map on the light pole near the porta pot. We will try to notify you in advance if any sites are taken.
