Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

The Monguap River is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that feeds off of the stream, which can only be explained by experience (weather-dependent). Our hot tub also pairs beautifully with our newest addition to the cabin, our sauna! Perfect for a cold plunge afterwards (more information in the add-on description)! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E., Flat top grill, single burner, and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. If you're looking for activities, there are plenty of rafting/canoeing/kayaking companies for your enjoyment. The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Only 1.5 hours from NYC but you truly feel like you’re away from the city and in the quiet serene woods. Kathy was an amazing host and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. We were on site 9 which was very isolated and spacious enough to fit all of our needs. Everything was also clean and the trails were marked and easy to follow. There’s also firewood for purchase if needed. I would highly recommend and will be coming back!

Lovely place for a peaceful retreat for a chilly November weekend, even with a 5 year old. Sandy and John were such kind and welcoming hosts. The red cabin is an updated church camp cabin, with electric radiators and a modern wood stove for heat, a pretty cool composting toilet (indoor), sink+shower, simple kitchen with induction stove, and 2 bedrooms with linens and towels. Our 5-year old loved the tree house, fairy house, labyrinth, meditation stations, boat and Pooh's house and library. And we got really good at shuffleboard! Would definitely recommend and would like to go back.

Weekend Trip to Paradise Valley Homestead
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in early November. And really affordable too! Kathleen met us at the entrance and led us to site 10. She was welcoming, entertaining, and helpful, and also answered my call and gave directions when I was lost the first evening. As mentioned in the description, we certainly needed a SUV (Mazda with 7.5 inches of ground clearance) to get to the site and made sure to take it slow and drive our wheel over rather than straddling big rocks. Site 10 is extremely secluded past all the other ones, with a beautiful view of the ridge since the leaves have fallen off the trees near the site. It was large with a nice flat part up at the top where one of us camped, and a stone campfire pit and space for several more tents and tables. It was very peaceful and beautiful and we could hear the waterfall. The outhouse was a couple of mins walk away and was very nice. Having wood to purchase at the entrance was nice too. One of my favorite parts was exploring the beautiful trails around the property. Make sure to check out the waterfall and also take a right at that sign and check out the pond and more! We hope to be back again soon! What a wonderful place and time we had!

Our girls camping trip to Camp Dietrich this weekend was amazing. Scott met us upon arrival and gave us a full rundown of the campground! The checkpoint shed had everything we needed, wood was ready to buy, and the Coleman stove made cooking every meal so easy. The creek beside our campsite was absolutely magical, and yes, I even took a cold plunge. The tent was super spacious, comfy bunk beds, and the heater kept us warm all night. We hiked to the waterfalls on-site, which were unreal. Already counting down to bringing the kids this summer. Highly recommend, 10/10.

We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed for two nights at “a creek runs through it” and had a wonderful time. Scott was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you forgot to pack something, there’s a good chance you can borrow it from the check point shed. The site itself was gorgeous and very private. You really can “be one with nature” here. I look forward to visiting again once it warms up, to fully take advantage of the creek and some swimming. Highly recommend this place. Thank you to the Dietrich’s for a wonderful experience!

We stayed at the Record Room Cabin this past weekend and absolutely loved it! The hot tub with warm water and hot tub made for such a unique experience — truly unforgettable.
