The yurt is beautiful inside and is very nicely furnished. There is a wonderful view of the mountains out the front door. We got to meet the farm doggies, the are very sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay there.

Our family of four enjoyed staying overnight in this very spacious and comfortable yurt. The beds were comfortable, and the location is beautiful! Allthough it was hot when we arrived, opening the windows, roof vent and turning on the fans cooled the whole yurt down amazingly fast and we had a great night's sleep.

Rooper Ranch is a lovely working farm with an unbelievable backdrop of the sisters to the west and Smith rock to the north
This unbelievable location feels miles from nowhere yet It’s just minutes from town and services. It was the perfect base Camp for us to explore all the wonderful trails, adventures and possibilities that central Oregon has to offer.

This place is amazing!!! They have cows on the property which is so cute. I woke up to use the restroom in the AM and there was a hot air balloon taking off on the property next to theirs. The yurt is super spacious and clean and Amy is super nice. Definitely recommend!

We booked this last minute and we were soooo thrilled to book this over a hotel! It is such a beautiful, peaceful, and serene area. We loved to just hang out side, watch the beautiful sunset and just be in nature. And double plus, there was no bugs! We kept the yurt doors open to let fresh air in without a worry. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

This cozy yurt is tucked away in tall grasses above a lush working garden. From the front porch, we were treated to gorgeous views of the majestic Sisters mountain range.
We loved cooking dinner outside on the porch with the cool mountain air and spaciousness of the valley. Inside, the yurt was thoughtfully outfitted with multiple seating areas and plenty of cozy blankets. Really comfy beds too. You could hear trains roll by occasionally, but we didn’t really notice them that much. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. The large battery pack was a great touch, providing enough power to keep devices charged and lights on without any hassle. It was a bit warm inside when we first arrived at the yurt, but the hosts had thoughtfully provided a fan, and it cooled down pretty fast.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with spectacular views and rustic charm, this yurt is a perfect choice.
