Welcome to Barker Gap! Opened in August 2024 we offer 3 beautifully shaded rv/camper spots, 2 pull thru spots and 1 back in. We have NO size or slide out restrictions, our spots were built with your comfort in mind. All spots come standard with 50A/30A/110 electric hookup, city water, Bbq/park grill, stone fire pit and sewage hookup at every campsite. Wi-Fi is also included for all campers. At this time we do not have bathrooms available to tent camping or any primitive style camping. The BEAR'S DEN cabin is a 1 room 1 bathroom cabin. Built to sleep 4 with a spacious queen bed perfect for falling asleep on, a cozy twin bed for reading/sleeping, and stowed under the twin bed is an adventure cot for that outside nap on the deck. The cabin is equipped with a mini fridge/freezer, a Keurig coffee maker, and a microwave) inverter. In the bathroom we have a metal wrapped 22" deep soaking tub equipped with a rainfall shower head to wash the stress away. No glamping cabin would be complete without a wave activated hand dryer a 43" Wi-Fi connected smart TV and the latest plug ins with USB ports included so you can forget that charging box at home. Coffee, bedding, towels, bar soap, provided. So what are you waiting for? It's time to camp!

The wife and I loved staying here in our RV. The sites are nice, wide and level. Nothing more you could ask for in a campsite. Very close to Buckhorn trails with lots of riding straight from camp. The hosts are the best! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area or planning to ride Buckhorn.

Great location, close ride in ~ ride out to the trails. Owners friendly and available to answer questions and provided a map of the trails. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. ~ Ken

Great campsite! Brian and his family were so friendly and accommodating. He was quick to respond to questions and requests. Our group had an awesome weekend and we are already talking about staying there again soon.

Site 1 is a pull thru. 90+ feet long and 24 feet wide.

The site was perfect! Accommodated our 44 ft fifth wheel perfect. We had easy access to highway 59 where we rode our motorcycles. Brian and his wife Misty were great hosts. We are planning to go back and ride side by sides.

Very nice place to camp. The RV spots are very well maintained and setup for all the amenities for hook-ups. There is a firepit and a grill at each spot as well. We liked you could ride out of camp and hit the trails. I recommend staying here and will definitely be going back.

Beautiful campgrounds, it is evident as soon as you pull in that the owners take great pride in their property. The sites are very large with more privacy than most others. This is one of if not our favorite campground in Arkansas. Great access to OHV trails, and easily accessed from I40. We will be back a couple times per year

We loved camping here. Very peaceful there and 100% loved it. We love having full hook ups also. We ended up leaving a couple days early because I became ill. But had nothing to do with the campground. We loved that we could explore buckhorn trails plus we took in some local history around there in our truck. We will return again.

It’s a nice place to camp. We were able to move to site 2 which was a little easier to park in/hook up to. The only complaint is the drive getting in is not great. It is on a hill with ruts and bumps and was hard getting in. Other than that it was a great place to stay!

Barker Gap LLC was exactly what we needed for a weekend escape! It’s a smaller campground but that’s what makes it so great. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. Brian and his family were such gracious hosts. He met us when we got there and made sure we were good all weekend. He really takes special care of Barker Gap and I’m excited to see what else he has planned. The trail access is almost directly across from the entrance of Barker Gap. And the trails were great. We went to the Natural Dam too! (We didn’t take the RZR’s but we saw other people who did. We didn’t want to chance it.) We will definitely be going back to Barker Gap!

I’m adding a second review to mention this: I am a digital nomad (work FT from the RV) and Brian has gone out of his way to make sure this remote spot has plenty of connectivity. Internet service was good - not great - but then he put in a new router and it’s very fast. WiFi may not be top of the list for most campers but if you do work remote, this camp will work out well for you.
