There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved (go to sauna to reserve a time). Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound. Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets (not flushing). A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN (with the exception of site #1). ***Please take note that this is private property and the host lives on site. If you are looking for a place to be loud and party into the night, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to spend some quality time in nature, welcome. There are rules.

Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails right at the start of the Hocking Hills. (easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. There are also options for RV parking with no hookups as well as a site with 30/50 amp. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. If you are traveling with an RV, the Sunny Rest location is the best with campfire. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, with the additional bedrooms featuring a queen bed (upper), and two full beds (main and lower levels). The primary and lower-level bedrooms also feature a fold-out futon, providing sleeping accommodations for up to ten persons. All bedding is provided for your use. The recently remodeled bathrooms offer a walk-in shower on the main level and a double vanity with a soaking tub on the lower level. Extra towels are supplied in the lower-level bathroom. The upstairs bathroom is ½ bath only. The family room on the lower level provides a comfortable L-shaped couch with a TV and access to log in to your streaming services. The main level features an entryway den with an electric fireplace, a TV, and cozy seating. You’ll encounter abandoned historical sites and relics dating back to the early 1800s, hidden away among the wooded hills of Ohio’s least populated county. If you're a lover of outdoor recreation, this is the place to be. NOTE: Maximum stay on north and south BARN SITES is 3 consecutive nights. UNLESS we discuss the situation prior to the dates. For the TITUS RD DISPERSED SITE, I have a 30 day limit (longer is possible if OK'd before stay) Note, we have a rear patio porch and deck on the back of the house that we use and is in sight. 6 dogs between daughter next door (South side of barn) and us but both have fenced in yards that we try to keep the dogs in when campers are present. Dogs are harmless but do bark when they do not know you... City of Springfield is less than three miles away. A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station. Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout. The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys, Subway, and dog park. Sheets also has a food court. All within walking distance. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus... NOTE: Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route, If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you. Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible. The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more. Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area. Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more. Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9, The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers . Please message me on the morning of your stay with an ETA so I can make sure I'm here to great you. RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine. If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180). Learn more about this land: I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. We often have fresh veggies and fruit in the garden in the summer, and sometimes extra farm fresh eggs. Nearby (10 minute drive) is Hargus lake, with boat rental and fishing. Also nearby is the Slate Run Historical Farm, (15 minute drive) which is a farm that is fully functioning as a farm from the 1880's with sheep, draft horses, hogs, and poultry at Slate Run Metro park, which has many woodland and wetland trails, as well as a covered bridge and several playgrounds. We are about 35 minutes from the Hocking Hills area, which is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Ohio.

Located right across the road is the Buckeye Trail that is walked by many hiking enthusiast through the hocking hills region. You can enjoy some peace and quiet at the end of the day around the fire or walking the nearby creek. Please be respectful of our neighbors and stay on your side of the creek. The creek is marked to the right with orange markers and to the left the property ends at the bridge. Pack it in, pack it out: Check your campsite for trash and leftover food, and pack if there is any please place them in the dumpster at the entrance. Please leave the property just like it was when you got there. There is no cell phone service in this area. We do have extended WiFi from the cabin now. After a long day of hiking grab a delicious burger from Jimbo's or a slice of heaven from Papa Dino's Pizzeria. Side note: There is a cabin also available to rent on site it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for friends that do not have campers. Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails right at the start of the Hocking Hills. (easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. There are also options for RV parking with no hookups as well as a site with 30/50 amp. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. If you are traveling with an RV, the Sunny Rest location is the best with campfire. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus... Please message me on the morning of your stay with an ETA so I can make sure I'm here to great you. RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine. If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180). Learn more about this land: I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. We often have fresh veggies and fruit in the garden in the summer, and sometimes extra farm fresh eggs. Nearby (10 minute drive) is Hargus lake, with boat rental and fishing. Also nearby is the Slate Run Historical Farm, (15 minute drive) which is a farm that is fully functioning as a farm from the 1880's with sheep, draft horses, hogs, and poultry at Slate Run Metro park, which has many woodland and wetland trails, as well as a covered bridge and several playgrounds. We are about 35 minutes from the Hocking Hills area, which is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Ohio.

Our family stayed in the Juniper trees area at Camp 4. We found this site to be quite private, protected from any wind and it felt like our own space. The grounds are kept quite nice and appreciated the well water access. The homemade goods for purchase were a great little surprise also. The pond and chickens kept our daughter entertained and the nearby hikes in Rocky Fork Gorge we pretty impressive. Loved the no fuss check in and check out. We will definitely be back.

It's a beautiful space and Marcy was very friendly. There's a large field for stargazing as well as forest sites. there was a very nice clean fire pit with a grill, and firewood and kindling were provided. There is a clean bathroom with a flush toilet and cold running water, and some thoughtful homey amenities. I came in at night and Marcy put on some lights for me, and then turned them off once I had a fire going. All in all a lovely experience.

We loved our stay at Nature’s Way! Jim is wonderful and his dogs were friendly too! Our site was perfect-far enough from other campers and not much road noise after 10pm. We will certainly be back!

I loved my stay at Jim’s place! The hilltop site is great! Lots of firewood, well maintained, away from the other campers and Jim is really kind. We really enjoyed our ride over to the winery. Jim has beautiful property.

Nice cozy place out of the elements. Water and Electric is available on site, with only Electric in Nolas Cabin. Nolas Cabin accommodates 4 people nicely. Twin (1) over full bunk (2) with Trundle (1). 6 inch Memory foam pads with liners are present on beds. Get a good nights rest while on your getaway, and still enjoy your outdoor cooking, fishing and star gazing. During inclement weather, a single serve K cup style coffee maker and Microwave are available to start your morning off. Bear Pond does have garbage bags upon request. But we ask you carry your refuse out with you due to the wildlife. Bear Pond is Furry Family Friendly. Just be mindful of possible wildlife if your Furry family members is off leash.

Learn more about this land: I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. We often have fresh veggies and fruit in the garden in the summer, and sometimes extra farm fresh eggs. Nearby (10 minute drive) is Hargus lake, with boat rental and fishing. Also nearby is the Slate Run Historical Farm, (15 minute drive) which is a farm that is fully functioning as a farm from the 1880's with sheep, draft horses, hogs, and poultry at Slate Run Metro park, which has many woodland and wetland trails, as well as a covered bridge and several playgrounds. We are about 35 minutes from the Hocking Hills area, which is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Ohio.

These newly updated gravel RV sites are located in the Hocking Hills area. Just a short distance away from Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave. Other parks nearby are Lake Hope State Park, Zaleski State Forest, Tar Hollow State Forest, Cedar Falls and many more. Located right across the road is the Buckeye Trail that is walked by many hiking enthusiast through the hocking hills region. You can enjoy some peace and quiet at the end of the day around the fire or walking the nearby creek. Please be respectful of our neighbors and stay on your side of the creek. The creek is marked to the right with orange markers and to the left the property ends at the bridge. Pack it in, pack it out: Check your campsite for trash and leftover food, and pack if there is any please place them in the dumpster at the entrance. Please leave the property just like it was when you got there. There is no cell phone service in this area. We do have extended WiFi from the cabin now. After a long day of hiking grab a delicious burger from Jimbo's or a slice of heaven from Papa Dino's Pizzeria. Side note: There is a cabin also available to rent on site it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for friends that do not have campers.
