GloryField Hospitality Farm is a 148 acre active farm and vacation destination. Enjoy your stay and the picturesque view of fields, cow pastures, and wetland pond. Spend your day fishing at the catch & release pond, hiking the 2 miles of mowed trails, you are 3 miles from the Ohio Erie Prairie Bike Trail head. Ask about helping with some of the farm chores. In the evening roast s'mores on a campfire, catch fireflies, or stargaze away from artificial light. The farm is shared space with a variety of short term rental sites; however each site has over 100ft away from each other. The owner Kim also lives on the property in the barn with her 2 golden doodles Scooby & Trixie. GloryField is an active farm so there are also people, vehicles, and farm equipment that have access to the property. They are the only people allowed to drive beyond the driveway. The nearest town of S. Charleston is 3 miles down the road and has a good grocery store, gas station, & dollar stores. Restaurants include Pizza/sub/salads, Chinese, Coffee shop, bakery, & Ice cream (unfortunately no delivery). Other popular destinations are... Cedarville University - 10 Minutes, Yellow Springs & Youngs Jersey Dairy - 20 Minutes. Larger cities of Springfield, Xenia, & London - 30 minutes. Located on 66 acres of rolling farmland and wooded country side. Near Yellow Springs, Cedarville College, John Bryan State Park, Clifton Gorge, and centrally located near Dayton, Springfield, and Columbus. Enjoy your morning coffee along with a beautiful view of Ohio farmland and the sounds of nature. This is a working farm. We grow forage crops (alfalfa, clover, grass), manage a cow-calf herd of 42 Criollo (Corriente), and selectively harvest timber. We are one of the few 100% grass fed/ grass-finished ranches that practices regenerative agriculture. Guests may explore the farm, bird watch, enjoy catch-and-release fishing in a private one-acre pond, or sit by the fire. The Ohio to Erie Trail is 1/4” mile from the ranch. Loved this spot… although we made a mistake and had planned for an electric hookup for heat. We stayed one night anyway and loved having even a short time on this property. The farm was really an incredible property. We brewed coffee on the provided propane stove and enjoyed a quiet morning on the swing by the creek while enjoying our hot coffee. It felt like a happy accident that we accidentally stumbled on a site that we’ll return to with our solar panels for a boondocking trip in the future. And If you are a tent camper, this spot is one of the best we’ve seen, hands down. Book now!

Definitely recommend booking this campsite! It was a lovely property, including highland cows (a baby was born just a few weeks ago!), the farmhouse, and the campsite itself. There is a great fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, and porch swing - what more could you need! The stream next to the campsite was so peaceful to sleep to. The owners were very kind and even surprised us with some cookies when we checked in. Cannot wait to book again!

Our tent camping getaway was a dream!! Plenty of space to enjoy board games or cards at the picnic table, cook on the provided propane stove top, or chat around the stone lined fire pit! This place was decked out with so many bells and whistles! The entire property is beautifully maintained and the host was an interesting and witty man. The outhouse was uber clean and had a water source (bath and body works pump soap! Bonus!) with a sink for washing and rinsing! The camp site location was nestled in a cozy cocoon alongside a stream and surrounded by trees, but just a quick walk to hike trails, visit chickens (yes, you can buy fresh eggs!) peacocks, bulls and a couple pot bellied pigs! We were given homemade cookies and pup treats in adorable packaging upon arrival and I’m here to say….we are already planning our next trip!! See you in the Spring, Vaughn! Could go on and on!! Just splendid!

Our long weekend at GloryField Hospitality Farm in South Charleston, Ohio was nothing short of magical. From the moment we pulled into the spacious RV pad with our 40-ft Class A, we knew we had found a hidden gem—so much better than the crowded state parks. The level, gravel site overlooks the wetland pond and is well maintained, featuring full hookups (electric, water, and sewer), a picnic table, and a fire ring with convenient access to firewood. The site has good water pressure and well positioned connections relative to the pad. WiFi is available, but plan on using cellular or satellite if you need faster speeds for streaming or VPN. The catch-and-release pond located in a secluded corner of the property was a highlight of the trip. We caught several largemouth bass and crappie. We spent time just relaxing in the benches, listening to the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the fall corn. Kimberly, the host and owner of GloryField, was warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge, she made us feel right at home—even inviting the family to experience a unique farm experience. If you’re looking for a place to get away into the heart of Ohio, add Gloryfield Hospitality Farm to your list!

Had a great time at this farm for a weekend camping trip. Friendly and helpful hosts! They provided some extra firewood, fresh eggs, and plenty of space! Plenty of land to explore with chickens and cows on the property. Easy RV hookup and some flat spots for tents. The provided bathroom and shower was clean and sufficient. It's a mini-container unit. Plenty of room for an RV with easy hookup and no issues! Some of the trails weren't mowed recently so the grass was long, John Bryan State Park and Indian Mound are both close by for some good hiking and exploring. The house on the property had guests, and one night there were yurt campers -- but still no issues with privacy or space. The yurts are REALLY far away and you wouldn't even know they were there if you weren't told, and the house if far enough away that space is not an issue.
