Weekend Trip to Chipmunk Ridge
A great little cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It’s very remote and secluded but is accessible by a gravel road. I think we counted 3 trucks and 2 side by sides as traffic for the entire weekend! The cabin was neat as a button and every question a guest could ever ask was already addressed either in their cabin manual or little notes adjacent to the items. It is SOOOO quiet! What a great place to relax and unwind. Many trails criss-cross the property so bring comfortable shoes. Thanks for the opportunity to share your little slice of heaven!

What a perfect way to spend the weekend. Lisa put a lot of thought into preparing the camper. It was decorated nicely and was supplied with all the necessary items to make a weekend away complete. The scenery was peaceful with a perfect view of the river. I will be recommending this spot to all of our family and friends. Would love to bring our grandchildren...lots of room for tents. Great for those who want to give camping a try or those like ourselves who love to camp but are unable to any longer for what ever reason. Highly recommend you give it a try. We were very pleased.

We loved this cabin. With the porch on two sides of the cabin, the fire pit area and picnic table there are plenty of cool spots to hang out and relax. Had fun playing horseshoes too. There are two comfortable queen beds and a small couch that pulls out into a twin bed as well. The kitchen had what we needed and between the electric fireplace and the ceiling fans and AC you will never get too hot or cold. Thanks for a great stay Chad. I appreciated how quickly you answered our questions. We will be back

I had a wonderful time here. We stayed for a week and got to experience several thunder storms. Peaceful and serene location will lots of amenities. About a 30 min drive to the nearest town for resupply. While there is no TV there is WiFi and a small desk with a PC display and HDMI cable that I was able to plug into so I could complete some work. The shower, stove, and toilet all made the stay very comfortable. The wood burning stove was excellent as was the hvac system with A/C and heat, a refrigerator, and propane range in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Perfect for a romantic stay.

This small farm is 7 acres of the original 25 my great grandmother purchased for her family in 1934. Guests can enjoy the cabin as well as the barn, which has been converted to a rec area. Make our home and green space yours for a few days. Camp in comfort in our "little cabin in the woods." Accommodates up to six guests, with a queen-sized bed, a futon and two low single beds in the loft, accessible only by ladder. Kids 6 and older may sleep in the loft-- just like Laura and Mary-- and they can read a chapter of one of Laura Ingalls' "Little House" books before bed! The Camp Cabin contains a small refrigerator, microwave and gas fireplace (no, the pioneers didn’t have that!). Fresh eggs and other snacks are provided for breakfast. The restroom and shower are located in the walkout basement of the farmhouse, a 40 yard walk from the Cabin. The restroom has a private entrance and is used only by guests during their stay. Pet and feed goats and other farm animals. Enjoy fun activities on the farm and in the barn.

McKee Farm is rich in memories and rich in history. It has been in the family for over 150 years and we were told that it was one of stopping points for the underground railroad. The 240 acre farm boasts a hidden cave, wide open fields, breathtaking forest land, and historic and rustic barns. Nestled at the edge of a wooded creek, Tullihas in the Trees treehouse boasts a beautiful sunset view with rolling hills. Tullihas combines comfort with the thrill of being immersed in nature. Built using recycled electric poles, Tullihas in the Trees has a deck perfect for hammocking, an interior dressed with windows so that guests can feel as if they are living amongst the trees, and two small lofts ideal for a restful night's sleep. Oxley in the Woods is our newest treehouse cabin. Nestled in the woods with a view of the sunset, the lovely A Frame is filled with lovely woodwork, vintage parquet flooring, and private wooded views. The deck is huge! We've had guests set up a tent on the deck beside the treehouse for fun! Swings, and a slide make the Oxley a fun adventure. The double bed in the loft and the two stacked single beds are comfortable and cozy. The McKee Farmhouse was built in the 1800s and is rich in memories. It's a rustic old house, with wood trim, hardwood floors, and plenty of imperfections that make it unique. You can sit on the porch and drink your coffee with a view of the barn and pastures, or cozy up in one of the house's four bedrooms and sleep in. The house is fully air conditioned and heated, has all the amenities of home, but takes you back to a simpler time. Our campsites are all set apart from one another in various locations on the 240 acre farm. Secluded and unique, each campsite has its own charm. We provide guests with a fire ring and a shovel, and some sites have a picnic table. Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. An Amish farm borders McKee Farm. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug.
