Quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very kind. Site # 9 with electric and water hookup is pretty close to their house and some barns/ silos- not a major issue but something to be aware of.

Cobblers knob is a nice working farm with areas around the farm house to camp. I felt very at home there and enjoyed watching the animals and relaxing.

What an amazing stay my family and I had at Cobblers Knob the host were very kind and accommodating. The stay was delightful and comfortable. We were able to pull in and park. The Host are very responsive and kind. If your in the area be sure to try them out you won't be sorry!

I liked it so much I booked it again on my return from Saint Louis! The place is spotless, private and I felt very safe as a solo camper. This is a unique little gem with places to walk and some of the best coffee/pastry just down a little path along the creek. I've done alot of camping with Hipcamp and this is one of my favorite spots so far! It's dry camping so bring your luggable loo if you're not totally self contained. Would be a great spot for a low key romantic weekend. The coffee place across the way is also a wine bar and has a lovely patio!

Weekend Trip to Stargazer Glamping Campsite
Pretty easy to find. Not on a main road. Not too far from it. Locked gated entry. Surrounded by trees and a creek. Beautiful property. Lots of wildflowers. I took a nap in the hammock when I arrived and unpacked. More than one seating area. Big fire pit. Huge, Beautifully decorated tent. Pretty much everything you would need. Eating and cooking utensils. Towels. I didnt get to use the pretty outdoor shower it was just too cold. Got down to 48. Site says heated but they didnt have a stove set up yet. Other than hearing the family playing across the creek there are no cons. I had a nice peaceful evening. I very much enjoyed my quiet time here at stargazer. Thank you 😊

One of my favorite Hipcamp sites yet. The bathroom is so cute and such a game changer for camping. We were also able to catch a lot of fish in the pond. Would totally recommend and would love to come back.

We camped in our two tents by a shed in a working family farm with wide open fields all around us. The night sky was amazing - you can see the Milky Way on a clear night. They kindly provided us a nice fire ring made from an old tractor wheel and some fire wood (bring your own axe or maul). We had a great time and visited with the family. The bathroom is in the back of the shop about 100 yards from the campsite and worked fine.
The family has a couple of German Shepherds to work the farm and a cat or two. They were very friendly but roam freely, just so you know. I had a great time and would recommend this site highly. Thanks Sam!

Lisa and Dennis were incredible hosts who take exceptional care of their land and visitors. Our family of 4+pup enjoyed 2 nights camping, wine tasting, fishing, and much more. The privacy of our stay was paramount and this site more than satisfied our needs. We have been home for 5 hours and already miss this place and are planning our next trip. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at this beautiful property!! The selections of wine are amazing and unique! Dennis was an incredible wealth of knowledge and took great care of us during the wine tasting as well as every other part of our stay!

The property is beautiful, easy to get to and the hosts are welcoming and just seem like good people. We got to say hello to the farm animals too (it would be very easy to avoid the animals if that's not your thing though)! Would absolutely stay here again and may very well be coming back in a few days on our way back through as we head home from our trip.

Lisa and Dennis were such wonderful hosts! This was our first camping trip with our toddler and we couldn’t have found a better spot for our first outing with him! We loved fishing in the pond and enjoyed the fire pits. One of the most special things were the fairy lanterns that came on around the property after the sun went down. The bathroom was a top-notch amenity, too! Lisa and Dennis gave us a wonderful tour of their property and we enjoyed meeting all their animals (dogs, cats and Cajun the potbelly pig). We would absolutely come back again!
