I know the area was inhabited by native Americans many decades ago. I have found a few broken arrow heads over the years. The farm is beautiful and quiet. I have a beautiful hiking trail around the property for you to take your fur babies on. The cabin is right on a beautiful stream too. There are several state parks nearby and river tubing within 10 -30 minutes. Hot showers and potable water just a few feet away.

The deck is gated for toddlers and pets. Check out the secluded porch swing underneath. Our pet fee is an additional $25 left on the counter. Stargazing is at its best here, and lots of back roads to walk and explore. Check out Beamers Knob for a gorgeous long range view, about a mile from the yurt. It’s breathtaking! The firefly is comfortable for a small family or a romantic get away for couples. The creek is stocked with trout, with easy access along the creek, perfect for wading, floating, and relaxing to the noise. Firefly has a camp style charcoal grill, a firepit with lots of firewood, a wood pellet stove on the covered deck for grilling when its rainy outside, a wood pellet fireplace for heat, outside shower with hot water, a comfy queen size memory foam bed, fresh linens and towels, and an outside bathtub situated by the creek. it has running water and a composting toilet and there is an unattached bathhouse with a conventional toilet and an outside shower as well. The FireFly is pet friendly and please leave $25 on the counter for the pet fee. The Firefly is 6 miles from I-77 and The Blue Ridge Parkway. I keep all paper products, dishes, cookware and pellets for the pellets cooker and for the heater. Plenty of blankets and there is a pellet heater and a propane wall heater there with plenty of propane.

Up the loft steps, a twin bed is located in the "Eagles landing", with a new memory foam double bed in the bedroom. Please be aware that the stairs are quite steep and were not designed with railing. We recommend exercising caution when using them, especially for guests with mobility concerns, young children, or those who may be less sure-footed. Your safety and comfort are important to us, so please take care when choosing your sleeping arrangements. There is one bathroom with a shower downstairs, located off the kitchen. A small washer dryer is also available. Please note, these can accommodate only small loads of laundry. You'll find bath towels and smaller towels specifically for drying off after a relaxing soak in the hot tub. We've stocked quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as some basic toiletries in case a guest forgets to bring an item. In the living room, the 55" TV streams Netflix, Hulu or any app on the Roku TV (you will need your own log in). The internet is provided by Starlink and is high speed! The queen bedroom also has a Roku TV, and a selection of board games, cards, and some children's activities are available below the TV. Outdoor Amenities: Take a relaxing soak in the hot tub while watching the local wildlife in the meadow. Enjoy our spacious fire pit area, complete with Adirondack chairs with a grill grate—perfect for evening s'mores or grilling under the stars. Lounge in the double hammock, or challenge your friends to a friendly game of cornhole. We also provide extra camp chairs that you may take down to the creek. When exploring the field and creek area please look at boundary map in our pictures for property lines to respect our neighbors. Deer, turkey, rabbits and hawks are spotted daily, and our neighbors report occasional bear sightings. Firewood: For your convenience, we provide 6-8 pieces of firewood for your use during your stay. The deck is gated for toddlers and pets. Check out the secluded porch swing underneath. Our pet fee is an additional $25 left on the counter. Stargazing is at its best here, and lots of back roads to walk and explore. Check out Beamers Knob for a gorgeous long range view, about a mile from the yurt. It’s breathtaking! The creek is stocked with trout, with easy access along the creek, perfect for wading, floating, and relaxing to the noise. Firefly has a camp style charcoal grill, a firepit with lots of firewood, a wood pellet stove on the covered deck for grilling when its rainy outside, a wood pellet fireplace for heat, outside shower with hot water, a comfy queen size memory foam bed, fresh linens and towels, and an outside bathtub situated by the creek. it has running water and a composting toilet and there is an unattached bathhouse with a conventional toilet and an outside shower as well. The FireFly is pet friendly and please leave $25 on the counter for the pet fee. The Firefly is 6 miles from I-77 and The Blue Ridge Parkway. I keep all paper products, dishes, cookware and pellets for the pellets cooker and for the heater. Up the loft steps, a twin bed is located in the "Eagles landing", with a new memory foam double bed in the bedroom. Please be aware that the stairs are quite steep and were not designed with railing. We recommend exercising caution when using them, especially for guests with mobility concerns, young children, or those who may be less sure-footed. Your safety and comfort are important to us, so please take care when choosing your sleeping arrangements. There is one bathroom with a shower downstairs, located off the kitchen. A small washer dryer is also available. Please note, these can accommodate only small loads of laundry. You'll find bath towels and smaller towels specifically for drying off after a relaxing soak in the hot tub. We've stocked quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as some basic toiletries in case a guest forgets to bring an item. We cannot believe our incredible good luck to have found this place. Christine and Ken cover everything - with so many thoughtful touches in every area to make our stay over the top. There is ample space for multiple tents with flat sandy/dirt as the base and boat-ramp access to the river. The large open kitchen area is beautiful and would hold many if it were raining. Our group was there for an annual get-together, and we’ve decided not to explore other locations or venues, looking forward to returning.

The Vineyard is a beautiful campground in a fantastic location. The cabin was very nice and suited our needs perfectly, though we actually ended up staying Nextdoor to Seminole in the Carolina cabin. Greg was an excellent host who was responsive and very accommodating. A perfect option for someone looking for a cabin instead of a tent or RV site. We enjoyed our stay. Bedding was provided as well as a small charcoal grill for cooking.

We loved our stay at the Loveshack and if you’re thinking of booking this spot, DO IT! The property is stunning, with trails steps away from the Shack and a babbling brook. The bed slept wonderfully and even with 42° temperature nightly lows, we were comfortable with an extra blanket from home. Wendy is a wonderful host who is attentive and respectful. We also brought our beagle, who had a blast playing in the stream and exploring the property with us. Wendy also provided some boardgames and some basic cookware for guests to use as well, which came in handy when we realized our camp stove was broken! We couldn’t have asked for more relaxing, magical, and nature filled weekend. We genuinely cannot wait to come back!

Such an awesome setup and very private. Totally quiet. Everything was awesome - great outdoor setup for fires and marshmallow roasting. The grill was brand new. The interior was very clean and well maintained. It was a great escape from the world - just a camper in the woods. The yard was really spacious - my 7 and 9 year old had plenty of space to ride bikes, play soccer etc… was close enough yet far away enough from everything. There’s a Dollar General store about 12 mins away. Definitely plan on making some grill meals there or bring food in. The appliances inside were great - microwave, oven, and cooktop were all used while we were there. The fridge is nicely sized. We got a 32pk of water in there and a couple of meals. There is a separate freezer too for ice cream etc… the furniture was comfortable and the king size bed was on point. Would definitely come back. We already recommended it to a friend.

Seeking adventure or peaceful rest? Bigfoot's Backyard fills the bill. Located in the middle of nowhere but in the center of everything. Our luxury RV is your escape from the daily hustle/bustle and lets you get back to nature. You'll have a true camping experience, but with the comforts of home. It's the perfect place to retreat to after a day of hunting, pottery shopping, exploring the Uwharrie National Forest or going wild at the NC Zoo. The RV is a 38 ft Jayco Designer series luxury fifth-wheel. There is plenty of room to park as you reach the end of the graveled drive where you will find the RV parked on private, family land with electric and water provided. It is in a cleared, but secluded spot surrounded by forest and farms. The unit is fully air conditioned for those hot summer days and heated for those chilly fall / cold winter nights. It has privacy, room darkening fabric shades on the windows. Basic toiletries (individual size soap, shampoo, body lotion), all bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets and comforter/quilt) and coffee and condiments are provided. There is a landline phone with free calling (because the cell service is limited) and superfast wi-fi for internet As you go through the door, you enter into the main living area with two super comfy leather recliners, a 42" Roku TV, ceiling fan, electric fireplace and a sofa . The kitchen has refrigerator/freezer, gas 3-burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. All the dishes, utensils, glassware and cookware are included. The dining area has seating for four. The private master bedroom has a king size bed, 20" TV, closet and plenty of other storage for your clothing and gear. There is a full bath with a walk-in glassed shower, full size porcelain toilet, two sinks with individual storage cabinets. Outside is a charcoal BBQ grill, sink and picnic table for outdoor cooking and dining. In the backyard, you can sit in a pair of rocking chairs on a paver patio while enjoying the firepit, relaxing in loungers, play cornhole or settle down at the umbrella covered small dinette. Remember...as comfortable/luxurious as this RV is, it's still a camper and it isn't like staying in a house. The water pressure is weaker, the toilet flushes with a pedal, and everything operates with a switch.
