Scotts Mills and this property was also a Quaker Colony from the 1800’s, and is now shared with Domaine Margelle Vineyards on a gorgeous hillside overlooking Oregon’s Willamette Valley. About Confluence Arts Center Confluence Arts Center was founded by Brianna Taylor, in collaboration with family and friends who’ve supported the vision coming to life. The evolution of the space is rooted in the values of co-creation, collaborative dreaming and expansive visioning. Until now, Confluence Arts has existed through Brianna’s creative performance work as Confluence Performance Project, and via her movement and bodywork offerings as Confluence Healing Arts. Brianna's long-time dream of a home for her performance projects and a dance, healing and community arts space is now in full fruition as The Confluence Arts Center with The Barn at the center. The Dance Floor in the Barn. The beautiful Russian Birch sprung dance floor once lived in a church in Brooklyn, NY as a part of Brooklyn Studios for Dance. Carpenter and dancer Pepper Fajans designed and built the floor, and then uninstalled it when BkSD closed in 2020. He later transported the wood panels to Oregon, where it would become the flooring for Confluence Arts Center. Brianna danced and was inspired by performances at BkSD. Deeply moved by Pepper’s carpentry wizardry, she asked his advice on building a dance floor in a barn in Oregon. A conversation started in Brooklyn among two Pacific Northwest natives turned into a cross-country collaboration, as well as a new life for the dance floor in Scotts Mills, Oregon. We stayed 2 nights in late Nov while in the area for a U of O game and it was nice (although quite cold). Go Ducks!! This was a great camping spot that was very private and quiet. We got to Eugene in under 15 minutes. We will likely be back but in warmer weather next time. Thanks for a smooth experience.

Weekend Trip to Crooked Finger Farms
The Guest House on the Farm is such a lovely and cozy place to stay! We experienced a power outage for 15+ hours from the storm, but Kristin made us feel safe and at so at home. Having all of the candles lit up around the house made the place even cozier. We loved how spacious the farmhouse was and seeing the beautiful fall leaves outside of the big windows. We also loved the close proximity to Silverton - such a sweet town! Hoping to come back to this hidden gem again to enjoy the cedar hot tub!

These guys put the hip in #hipcamp. Jim was a wonderful and engaging host. We stayed in the caboose and the highlights were hanging out with the host and his friends, the sauna, and hot tub. If you are bringing kids maybe check with the host or Eric on the vibe before coming. It is a beautiful property and you can tell Jim has put a lot of thought, effort, and himself in the place. Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.
