A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

Beautiful quiet, private space and great hosts! My SUV has 4 wheel drive, but we decided to park in the lot for easier "in's and out's" during our visit as the walk was shorter than expected. The goats were adorable and the backup heating system was a great help, since we were visiting the area during a fire ban. Impressed by how close beautiful hiking was available to our stay.

What else is there to say? I'm a performer by nature, considered TransJester, and therefore I'm flowery in my admiration for Des and his small piece of literal Feywild magick. Throughout the entire process, he suffered my questions in regards to my 'cule, available water supply, and the general "Privacy" of the space. Not only did he answer every question that I had, he communicated in a timely manner, and never once left me hanging when I asked a silly or complex question! Even came home with a new felt friend! Des, Sorry in advance. It's your own fault I must say, for facilitating an oasis tailor made for someone as eccentric as my group of creatures. If you're concerned about general physical (or invisible) disabilities, worry not. While the path down is gravel, Des offered a ride and assisted with the unpacking no questions asked. The Cabin, Kitchen, and Bathroom facilities are all immaculate. Mini Fridge, Ice Chest, Firepit, plenty of seating and grilling utensils, your community needs are met. Warm water shower?? Yes please! The Cabin was comfortable with bunk Full/Queen air mattress beds, functioning outlets, a TV, and AIR CONDITIONING! CPAP friendly! The privacy was spectacular. We saw maybe 5 people (and even then, across a lake's worth of distance) the whole weekend. The freedom to be as comfortable as you deem necessary was wonderful. Plenty of tent space, with a few surprise vistas that you should experience on your own. Dogs welcomed, it's our new nature haven.

We had such a great stay at this solar tiny house. The space is simple but comfortable. It was stocked with a lot of essentials so I didn't even need many things that we brought. My Honda Sport handled the drive to camp no problem, which I'm glad, because we had a lot of gear and I couldn't imagine hauling it all the way to the site. One of the highlights was the nearby hike to Mullet Falls—absolutely beautiful and worth the trip. The trail was easy to follow and made for a perfect way to spend part of the day. Being able to shower after was also really nice. For food, the Rock Hill Café nearby was a gem. Everything I tried there was fresh and delicious, and it was such a nice bonus to have great local food within reach. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to recharge, connect with nature, and enjoy some great local flavor, this place is a wonderful choice. Say hi to the goats for us!

We loved staying at Tree Day Weekend! The cabin is cozy and the loft bed was super comfy. The outdoor kitchen was great and made cooking super easy, both on the gas stove and on the fire. Add in a hot shower and refreshing swimming hole, and it's a perfect glamping situation.

We had such a peaceful and restorative stay here. The campsite, the cabin, all of the amenities, the trails, etc. are beautifully designed with a lot of thoughtful touches. It feels very special and welcoming! The kitchen setup, the outdoor shower, and the fire pit with Adirondack chairs definitely elevated the camping experience. Our dogs had a great time exploring the woods, and we felt very comfortable letting them roam around with us. Last thing I'll gush about: the ever-present sound of the creek is unbelievably soothing. Highly recommend this site if you want a place to disconnect and unwind in nature...with a convenience store a short drive away :-)

This place was amazing my husband and our dog had such a great time!!. This place makes you feel like time has stoped. Local places to get things you might need. The swimming hole our dog enjoyed it so much and we loved the view. During the night time it gets really dark only suggestion is bring flash lights it worked out great for us. Making plans to come back with friends and family since is specious enough to have more people. FIRE PIT was awesome 👏🏽 Jeremy & Josh responded at a timely matter and the communication was great book!!

What a nice set up here! Had more than enough space inside and was such a treat to end a day in the woods with a movie with the wifi! AT&T service had 1 bar and was usable, however, the wifi helped if need be! The walk down to the tiny house is rocky but very manageable! Goats & ducks were such a nice pit stop on your way up! Loved the area surrounding the tiny house for hiking! Waterfalls and nice terrain to see! Had pots and dishes and everything I needed! Thank you!

Great stay, it has just enough amenities for a comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful. The walk down is not bad but the way up feels very steep so I recommend trying for just one trip. Easy to find.

What a great place to camp. It's the most organized and thoughtful campsite I've used. Not to mention being alongside your own, private creek. The cabin was very comfy, with wood stove heat, and well laid out for its size. They even offer battery-charging power banks for your phones and other devices. The camp kitchen was full of pots, glasses, cutting knives, trash and recycling cans, and a very powerful camp stove — all under a rainproof awning. It even had two french presses, which I never expect to have. The campfire was well laid out, and if it hadn't rained and snowed (early April), we probably would have played the cornhole or other outdoor games provided. Even the bathroom was charming, especially for an outhouse. I didn't realize it also had a shower. Lake Minnewaska (good for scenic hikes along cliff trails above the water, plus a waterfall) is about a 15 minute drive with views along the way up the mountain. Also enjoyed the local microbewery (and its comfy couch near a fireplace), Rough Cut Brewing. Highly recommend, and hope to return!

The tiny house was just as expected. The goat was very thorough on what was available for use at the house. We used the solar for two days running the main overhead light, the tv, laptop, and WiFi. The wood stove was great! The diesel heater was great for overnight. When the fire dies the diesel heater keeps that deep chill off. The tiny house feels very private and we felt secluded the entire weekend. Gas station is right up the road just in case you need anything including fire starter and snacks. Great times and great private property!

Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campsite located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) At the entrance to the property is the Valley Farmers Cooperative that sells local grass fed meats and artisanal farm goods. You can walk two minutes to Heaven Hill Farm which has plenty of goods, produce, and fun fall activities like pumpkin picking and haunted hayrides. Drive your car from route 94 directly to your campsite nestled in the woods with a great view of the valley. A perfect getaway from the city with plenty to offer. About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. Vernon has plenty to offer as well including the popular ski resort/waterpark Mountain Creek and Minerals Spa (Located just under 10 minutes away.) The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda creating a restful backdrop for canoeists and fisherman, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers. A twenty-mile stretch of Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than sixty miles of trails are marked in the park.

The preserve land can be hiked, though there are not always paths. Macedonia and Kent Falls state parks are nearby by car, as well as an entrance to the Appalachian Trail just five minutes down the road. We are just six minutes away from the Tenmile River Metro North station and can pick you up with advance coordination. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

The cabin is located on a quiet dead end road, this cabin sits at the head of the Neversink River unique area and offers activities such as hiking, fishing and hunting. There are a variety of bars and restaurants located in the small town of Rock Hill, as well as our local Farmer's Market every Saturday only during the summer months. The cabin is a short trip away from the local grocery store, a five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. A twenty-five minute drive to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (sight of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: Please respect our non-smoking policy. There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles. We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests. The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the WiFi you should have capability to call and text. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill.
