Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. The Monguap River is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that feeds off of the stream, which can only be explained by experience (weather-dependent). Our hot tub also pairs beautifully with our newest addition to the cabin, our sauna! Perfect for a cold plunge afterwards (more information in the add-on description)! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E., Flat top grill, single burner, and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. If you're looking for activities, there are plenty of rafting/canoeing/kayaking companies for your enjoyment. We had a working dairy farm. Now the property is used for your enjoyment and ours. As well as making hay. We have an 8-acre garden planted with rhubarb, raspberries, and berries on the farm too. We are located next to the Wallkill River which the campsite overlooks. We have 3 campsites available to choose from. Toilet available, campfires permitted, picnic table provided, pets welcome. Be advised we are a working farm so you will see woodpiles, machinery, such as Tractors and other items sometimes hanging around. We can provide you with a trail map and help plan your hike. Swimming at Canopus Lake is only 7 miles away. Private and off-grid tiny home near the Neversink Unique Area hiking trails. This tiny house is approximately a tenth of a mile from guest parking. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. IF you decide to drive an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, it is at your own risk and the owners are not responsible for any damages. (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) Please keep in mind the WIFI and lights are solar powered, therefore we cannot always guarantee its consistency. Please also note this site is off grid with a rain-catch water system, therefore we cannot guarantee there will always be running water. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER. The outdoor shower has been updated with a hot water rain catch system. Please be conscious of your water usage, as the water for the shower is collected via a gutter system. If you run out of water in the shower you will need to wait for the next rainfall for it to collect and build back up. During the late fall and winter months, this site will be open to winter campers who come prepared with the necessities and truly know how to winter camp. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. The Terry is an adorable vintage 1970’s camper trailer nestled in the back corner secret garden area of Marina 59, a marina on the bayside of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC filled with creative structures, beautiful boats and wonderful wildlife. The RV has a queen size bed that comfortably fits 2. There is a new, powerful AC, a toaster oven, a fridge, a hot water kettle, and all the kitchen basics. The bathrooms, with large comfortable showers, are a quick walk away at the Marina entrance. Your rental includes parking in the marina lot and a clicker to come and go as desired. Outside the doors, there’s a decent super market, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a gas station. The beach is only three blocks away. The beach where numerous surf lessons take place is 9 blocks away. We are close to JFK airport - super convenient, but you will hear some plane traffic overhead. We're the perfect spot to stay if you have a layover at the airport and want to head to the beach. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! In addition, I've opened a shipping container store, Tree Rock NYC, right by the bathroom. Please stop in and check us out! The Terry is a perfect retreat for surfers, sun lovers, bird watchers and anyone who loves to enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer. And it’s an easy breezy subway / bus / ferry / drive away from the city! In summer, there are surfing classes, sailing and fishing trips, and numerous concerts and performances. I'm very willing to help you find the fun and adventure you seek here in Rockaway.

Get ready to get back to the basics, and allow yourself some moments of peace… Welcome to The Record Room! Our property has a vast collection of vintage, classic, and current vinyl albums that play solely from solar power. Its audio system delivers sound on the inside and out for a campfire mood that can't be beaten. The Monguap River is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that feeds off of the stream, which can only be explained by experience (weather-dependent). Our hot tub also pairs beautifully with our newest addition to the cabin, our sauna! Perfect for a cold plunge afterwards (more information in the add-on description)! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E., Flat top grill, single burner, and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. If you're looking for activities, there are plenty of rafting/canoeing/kayaking companies for your enjoyment. We also recommend downloading a trail-finding app, as there are an abundance of them all within 5 minutes! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

We have cameras please dont steal our wood. We are a 30-acre working active Hay farm. We purchased the farm when my grandfather passed away in 2014. It was once used to feed his cows. We had a working dairy farm. Now the property is used for your enjoyment and ours. As well as making hay. We have an 8-acre garden planted with rhubarb, raspberries, and berries on the farm too. We are located next to the Wallkill River which the campsite overlooks. We have 3 campsites available to choose from. Toilet available, campfires permitted, picnic table provided, pets welcome. Be advised we are a working farm so you will see woodpiles, machinery, such as Tractors and other items sometimes hanging around. Be aware we have 3 campsites so outhouse is used by all 3 campsite please be courteous of others. Leave the lid down after use ,wipe up after yourself. Treat it like its your own house. We appreciate it We ask after 8pm noise is kept down to respect other campers. We are located across the river from City Winery who does play music when they have weddings. We can provide you with a trail map and help plan your hike. Swimming at Canopus Lake is only 7 miles away. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. The Terry is an adorable vintage 1970’s camper trailer nestled in the back corner secret garden area of Marina 59, a marina on the bayside of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC filled with creative structures, beautiful boats and wonderful wildlife. The RV has a queen size bed that comfortably fits 2. There is a new, powerful AC, a toaster oven, a fridge, a hot water kettle, and all the kitchen basics. The bathrooms, with large comfortable showers, are a quick walk away at the Marina entrance. Your rental includes parking in the marina lot and a clicker to come and go as desired. Outside the doors, there’s a decent super market, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a gas station. The beach is only three blocks away. The beach where numerous surf lessons take place is 9 blocks away. We are close to JFK airport - super convenient, but you will hear some plane traffic overhead. We're the perfect spot to stay if you have a layover at the airport and want to head to the beach. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! In addition, I've opened a shipping container store, Tree Rock NYC, right by the bathroom. Please stop in and check us out! The Terry is a perfect retreat for surfers, sun lovers, bird watchers and anyone who loves to enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer. And it’s an easy breezy subway / bus / ferry / drive away from the city! In summer, there are surfing classes, sailing and fishing trips, and numerous concerts and performances. I'm very willing to help you find the fun and adventure you seek here in Rockaway.

This last trip was our 3rd time camping at Wright’s Farm. Our group always has the best time. The property itself is gorgeous with amazing views, the grounds are well set up with fire pits and plenty of space to spread out, as well as port a potty in the orchard. The farm stand is great and they have so many local treats from apple cider donuts to pies, jams, honey, etc. in addition to all the fresh produce. We also love the brewery and listening to live music there. Also, watching the skydivers jump over the farm is a show in and of itself. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Wright’s Farm! You are all so nice and we can’t wait to go back again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Kathleen's Paradise Valley Homestead (site #5). Site 5 is made for hammock campers! With well spaced trees throughout the site. Tent campers need not worry as there are many level spots for tents. As an added bonus, it's close to the CLEAN composting privy. I thought it was more secluded, but there's foliage mostly concealing the one neighboring site. If you're not used to air traffic noise, it could be an issue for you. It's not horrible by any means, but enough to make me take notice (and I'm used to it). The site itself was clean, with a great fire ring and cooking screens. The available wood for sale is good wood! I'll have to come back and check out the other sites.

We enjoyed our stay at site 2 and would recommend! Sarah was very helpful and communicative through our 1 night stay. It was our first time bikepacking and it was a great introduction. We took the Metro North train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie, and then rode mostly on the Empire State Trail and the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail to the farm. Beautiful fall views and smooth riding! The site was spacious, clean, and generally quiet and peaceful (we could hear some other campsites, City Winery, and the town nearby). The hill down to the river is pretty steep with slightly loose footing but we had no problem with it. At night, we saw stars and relaxed with a bonfire with wood provided for an extra fee. Thank you Sarah for a great experience!

This private, breathtaking property is nestled directly on the Neversink River, located just one mile from Exit 109 off NY-17 (new I-86). Join us on 3 sprawling acres, and enjoy the serene beauty of the Neversink River. The property is ideal for anyone looking to escape to a secluded, quiet area, with everything from Bald Eagles, Deer, Rabbits, and other local wildlife. Fell free to step right into the shallow river, just footsteps from your tent, and enjoy some smores by the riverside firepit. The river typically doesn't exceed more than 3 feet of depth throughout the entire property (unless high rain totals). Relatively short drives to local attractions include the newly renovated Holiday Mountain Ski & Fun Park (1.2 miles), Resorts World Catskills Casino (2.6 miles), the Kartrite Indoor Water Park (2.9 miles), and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (18.4 mile), home to the 1969 Woodstock music festival. 2 gas stations, a liquor store and supermarket are also within 2 miles of the property, as well as local eateries. We recommend bringing inflatables and or kayaks to take advantage of the beautiful river. Guests can drop in a few miles up river, and float down to the campsite. Trip can take anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on current flow and or paddle strength. We hope to have you stay with us!

The Terry is an adorable vintage 1970’s camper trailer nestled in the back corner secret garden area of Marina 59, a marina on the bayside of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC filled with creative structures, beautiful boats and wonderful wildlife. The RV has a queen size bed that comfortably fits 2. There is a new, powerful AC, a toaster oven, a fridge, a hot water kettle, and all the kitchen basics. The bathrooms, with large comfortable showers, are a quick walk away at the Marina entrance. Your rental includes parking in the marina lot and a clicker to come and go as desired. Outside the doors, there’s a decent super market, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a gas station. The beach is only three blocks away. The beach where numerous surf lessons take place is 9 blocks away. We are close to JFK airport - super convenient, but you will hear some plane traffic overhead. We're the perfect spot to stay if you have a layover at the airport and want to head to the beach. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! In addition, I've opened a shipping container store, Tree Rock NYC, right by the bathroom. Please stop in and check us out! The Terry is a perfect retreat for surfers, sun lovers, bird watchers and anyone who loves to enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer. And it’s an easy breezy subway / bus / ferry / drive away from the city! In summer, there are surfing classes, sailing and fishing trips, and numerous concerts and performances. I'm very willing to help you find the fun and adventure you seek here in Rockaway.
