This area is full of fascinating history and amazing natural geological/ancient places to hike into. Full moon nights and dark sky star watching is almost taken for granted here. slow wifi available..good if you plan on using a hotspot on your phone. A good time and place to disconnect. The road up is a bit rough but easy if you do not mind going slow no matter what you drive.

Weekend Trip to Field Trip NM

My 2 boys, 9 & 11, and I stayed here for 3 nights and it far exceeded expectations. Comfy beds, amazing sound of river rushing nearby, clean communal restrooms and showers. The beds even have heated mattress covers if it gets a little chilly at night. Amazing experience and can’t wait to come back.
