Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. The Terry is an adorable vintage 1970’s camper trailer nestled in the back corner secret garden area of Marina 59, a marina on the bayside of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC filled with creative structures, beautiful boats and wonderful wildlife. The RV has a queen size bed that comfortably fits 2. There is a new, powerful AC, a toaster oven, a fridge, a hot water kettle, and all the kitchen basics. The bathrooms, with large comfortable showers, are a quick walk away at the Marina entrance. Your rental includes parking in the marina lot and a clicker to come and go as desired. Outside the doors, there’s a decent super market, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a gas station. The beach is only three blocks away. The beach where numerous surf lessons take place is 9 blocks away. We are close to JFK airport - super convenient, but you will hear some plane traffic overhead. We're the perfect spot to stay if you have a layover at the airport and want to head to the beach. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! In addition, I've opened a shipping container store, Tree Rock NYC, right by the bathroom. Please stop in and check us out! The Terry is a perfect retreat for surfers, sun lovers, bird watchers and anyone who loves to enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer. And it’s an easy breezy subway / bus / ferry / drive away from the city! In summer, there are surfing classes, sailing and fishing trips, and numerous concerts and performances. Home Welcome to our quaint and cozy stay located in the rolling hills of Pen Argyl, PA. Your drive in is filled with small family farms and scenic views of the Pocono Mountains along the way. This 5-acre, 900 sq ft home is a short drive to Blue Mountain, Jack Frost Big Boulder, and Camelback Mountain for winter sports, as well as just 3 miles from the Wind Gap Appalachian Trail. The Space The house features a semi-professional kitchen, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. In addition, there is a pub room with a wood fireplace, gaming table, and marble-topped bar. This rustic space offers heating and cooling, electricity, hot water, and a fridge/freezer. Outside, there are multiple sitting areas, including a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a table with chairs. When the airstream on the property is also booked, the backyard and garden are shared. Guest Access Guests have full access to the house. Other Things to Note Services: During your farm stay vacation, you may opt for our locally sourced, farm-to-table dining experiences prepared by professional chefs with a combined 30+ years of experience. This can include a multi-course dinner, decadent dessert, and a hot breakfast. Menus can be reviewed and orders placed 48 hours before arrival. Property Notes: The property is a working farm with animals. We work as quietly as possible in the morning, but there may be some noise. Guests are welcome to join us in the morning to experience farm life! Because of the nature of the property, please carefully read and understand the following: • Other dogs are not allowed on the property, as we have two dogs of our own, Taco and Smokey. They are friendly and would love to meet you! • During winter and early spring, it can be chilly at night and in the early morning. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! We absolutely loved staying at Siri's camper in Far Rockaway... the location was right on the ocean, while still feeling private and protected from the outside city bustle.... Truly a little haven in the big city. The weather was a little chilly but Siri was incredibly sweet and left us electric, heated blankets.

Staying at this glamping site right on the Delaware River was an incredible experience. Totally gorgeous and private. The hosts were so kind and gracious; they went out of their way to make us comfortable and even surprised us with a thoughtful little anniversary gift when we arrived. The site is easy to find and has good cell service. Highly recommended for a peaceful and romantic getaway.

Weekend Trip to Riverhouse Farm
Our stay at Riverhouse Farm couldn’t have fallen on a more perfect weekend. We enjoyed how conveniently placed and framed everything was. From the view of the river from the tent, sitting around the fire as the moon rises between the trees, or where the sun and moon sit perfectly when they’re at the peak and the trees that frame it. We slept comfortably in the canvas tent and using the wood burning stove was easy. Conveniently, there’s a grill which made cooking a lot easier. The fresh eggs cooked over the fire were superb! We arrived later than we had hoped and in the dark so we missed the tent off to the right when we got there but were able to find it. I would love to visit again this time next year! Such a memorable trip.

A perfect mini weekend getaway! Richard met us on arrival and gave us a wonderful tour. He was also super communicative leading up to our stay which was great. The picnic table/ cupboard came in really handy for prepping and eating meals. During our stay the river was on the shallower side, but that didn’t deter us from getting out on the river to fish and explore. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to unwind and spend some time on the river!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riverhouse Farm. The location is beautiful, set right along the banks of the Delaware River, which made for a peaceful and scenic backdrop. Richard greeted us upon arrival and was incredibly kind and accommodating, which immediately made us feel welcome. The site itself is comfortable and well-kept. The tent was clean, the air mattress held air well, and the firepit came with a sturdy cooking surface that was easy to use. We especially loved floating on the river and watching the boats drift by—it was very relaxing. For those looking for adventure, the Mount Tammany hiking trail is just a short drive over the bridge and offers a challenging climb with truly spectacular views. The only thing to note is that the site isn’t particularly private. The driveway to the owners’ home runs right behind the tent and outdoor shower, so it’s possible to see cars drive by while you’re showering. Richard and his wife also enjoy walking along the lane, so you may encounter them from time to time. Overall, it’s a unique and enjoyable spot with a mix of comfort and outdoor adventure. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This location was so peaceful, and we really appreciated the fresh eggs and firewood. The eggs were delicious. The river was perfect for the kids, and even our dog had a blast. The water temperature was great, but definitely bring water shoes since it can get slippery in spots. We’d absolutely love to return if Richard and Mary would have us.

My in-laws had such a lovely stay at The Terry—they were totally taken by its rustic charm. It’s cozy, comfortable, and full of character, with everything you need for a beachy retreat: a comfy queen bed, strong AC, and a little kitchenette for simple meals. They appreciated that the bathrooms and showers are a short walk away, but what really makes this spot a treasure is its location and general vibe. The marina is a hub of creative people who are friendly and welcoming, with an eclectic mix of sailboats, fishing boats, live-aboards and handmade structures that are lit up and twinkly at night. It’s a magical little artist enclave on the water. And Rockaway Beach is just three blocks away; a city beach miracle. The water was the perfect temperature when they visited in late July, the people-watching was excellent, and we saw dolphins just off shore on several occasions. Yes, you’ll hear overhead planes from nearby JFK, but honestly, you stop hearing them pretty quickly and the convenience of the beach and the marina vibe more than makes up for it. Plus Siri is a total delight!

My wife and I were looking to explore the Delaware River National Recreational area and used Hipcamp to book our stay. This cabin was amazingly perfect! Located a good distance off the main road and surrounded by woods, a pond, and wildlife, it provided the perfect secluded getaway! Inside the cabin, every thing was modern and clean…nicely decorated….the AC worked great! Jeff communicated with us, answered our questions. We were amazed and highly recommend this cabin for your stay!!
