Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Each site has a small private firepit and picnic table. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably. There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants . Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of historic Flemington.

Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. Secluded enough for you to unwind and relax but conveniently close to the small towns of Ottsville, Easton, Bethlehem, Frenchtown, New Hope and Doylestown. Spend your time relaxing at camp, at the creek or exploring adjacent Nockamixon State Park. The park offers fishing, paddle boarding and boating opportunities on the lake, and swimming, mountain biking, and hiking in the park. Ralph Stover, Peace Valley, Ringing Rocks and Delaware Canal State Parks are only a 15-minute drive for outdoor enthusiasts. If you looking for dining and shopping experiences, we would love to share some local gems based on your interests. Our campsite is accessible by car and set up so you can start relaxing as soon as possible. The 10x12’ canvas tent includes a bunk bed with two queen memory foam mattresses. Bring your own favorite linens and make yourself at home. The campsite offers a campfire pit, firewood, seating, a picnic area, a food prep area, water and a well-maintained porta-potty. The canvas tent sleeps 4 but feel free to pitch another tent (or rent one of ours) for additional sleeping space. We had weekend trips at Bern’s place and it was wonderful. Cabin is really cozy and had everything needed. Everything was properly marked for convenience. My kid had a wonderful time hiking and watching horses. Beautiful fire pit and peaceful nature.Bren was super responsive and helped whenever we needed anything. Wonderful place and helpful people.

The campsite is so great for our needs: 3 good sized tents for our families to camp together. They're close enough that the little kids can safely run between them and around the common area but not so close it's noisy for each other. The grills, fire pits, dishwashing stations and toilet/shower amenities are clean, useful, well-maintained and appreciated. As were the badminton net and swings! Loved our second annual trip here.

We had a fantastic weekend at this site. Because the weather was cooler, we were looking for cabin camping, and the cabin was thoroughly prepped with everything we might need and was very clean. The outhouse was also spotless. Our favorite part was the outdoor area beside the cabin, with the picnic table and campfire. It felt like we were in the middle of the woods, even though we weren’t far from civilization. There is some nearby road noise, which is hard to avoid given the location, but in the morning we heard birds and the crackling fire helped drown out the car sounds. This spot is perfect for anyone seeking cabin camping with a private, secluded feel for a getaway.

What a perfect little spot! After biking around the area most of the day, this was the ideal spot to rest. Tom and MaryAnn were very accommodating and did a great job making sure the camper had all the essentials. While I didn't get to make a fire, Tom did offer free wood, which is rare on Hipcamp. The location is excellent and is not far from cute little towns like Frenchtown and Flemington. Would love to visit again and explore the area more.

I booked the cabin and one tent site to accommodate our group of 2 adults, three kids, and one dog. We setup the tent near the cabin and had a fantastic time! The cabin is cozy and was very comfortable for mom with two boys. The dispersed area looks great, although we did not use it. The host was very accommodating and responded to my barrage of questions. We felt very comfortable and safe. What a great place for a family getaway!

This cozy little cabin in the woods is a fantastic little find. The cabin is comfortable, cute, clean, and just overall a wonderful place to stay. I especially like the fire pit and sitting out and hearing all the crickets and sounds of nature. The double bed is quite comfortable and the host greeted us and made sure we had everything that we needed. Overall a high recommendation.

Staying at this glamping site right on the Delaware River was an incredible experience. Totally gorgeous and private. The hosts were so kind and gracious; they went out of their way to make us comfortable and even surprised us with a thoughtful little anniversary gift when we arrived. The site is easy to find and has good cell service. Highly recommended for a peaceful and romantic getaway.

I spent two days here this weekend. I arrived a little late on Friday. Cindy's preparation was perfect. I didn't have to do anything else. Also, Cindy explained everything kindly, and even I, who spoke English badly, could easily understand it. I would like to thank Cindy. The weather was perfect, and the sound of grass bugs at night was also nice. Cleanly maintained facilities made camping even more enjoyable. I'll visit you again next time.

This little cabin had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. Linens provided, great battery powered lamps and everything was clearly marked. We only stayed for one night and did not take advantage of the fire pit, but we enjoyed relaxing on the porch with coffee in the morning. Though the communal pit toilet is shared with others who may be camping on the land, the cabin is separate from campsites and feels very private. We’d certainly love to return for a longer stay.

Our stay at Riverhouse Farm couldn’t have fallen on a more perfect weekend. We enjoyed how conveniently placed and framed everything was. From the view of the river from the tent, sitting around the fire as the moon rises between the trees, or where the sun and moon sit perfectly when they’re at the peak and the trees that frame it. We slept comfortably in the canvas tent and using the wood burning stove was easy. Conveniently, there’s a grill which made cooking a lot easier. The fresh eggs cooked over the fire were superb! We arrived later than we had hoped and in the dark so we missed the tent off to the right when we got there but were able to find it. I would love to visit again this time next year! Such a memorable trip.
