We have a 5 acre suburban campsite that is quiet, yet close to amenities. Located in south Lincoln between Highway 2 and the city limit, near shopping, restaurants, and breweries. Our property has a small seasonal creek with walking path through a forested area and meadow. Cottonwood Creek Camp has one RV site and one tent site. This can be a peaceful place to stay for a quick stop off or even during Husker game-day weekends. We are 6 minutes from Southpoint mall which offers a shuttle to Memorial Stadium. Super Target, Aldi's and many other stores are only 5 minutes away. Disc golf and mini golf courses are 2 miles away. There is also access to the Lincoln bike trails via our residential streets. Laundry is available on site for an extra fee. Easy access off Highway 2 at the 68th/70th Street Exit, continue via Saltillo Rd. and then north on 56th St.

Aaron and Megan have a great spot in a really nice suburban neighborhood. The spot where I parked had plenty of privacy and the common area was amazing. I was able to shower, do laundry, and have a nice warm, quiet place to sit and eat. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone

Nice comfortable spot for our trip across the country! It was great having the indoor space to get a good shower and do a little work before getting back on the road. Had a little trouble with the direction from hipcamp but when we used the actual address, we got there just fine. Arrived in the dark and it was easy enough for our small rig to pull in and turn around to back up, but a bigger rig should just back in from the road.

Weekend Trip to Cottonwood Creek Camp

We were a same day registration and were only there for an overnight, but we had a nice experience at Aaron and Megan’s property. Aaron met us there and gave us the information about the common areas, even though we did not use them, it was very nice to have available. The RV spot is on asphalt and flat which is nice. It is a back-in but there is plenty of room. It rained the majority of the time so we did not explore much other than to take the dogs for a walk in the neighborhood. The area is quiet and we had a peaceful night’s rest. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for something in the area.

It was great to have laundry and an hot shower after weeks of traveling and camping in a tiny clamshell. The hosts are wonderful. The space was clean, parking in the driveway was easy. It was quiet and had a lovely wooded area for tent camping.

Awesome spot to stop at during our cross-country move. The driveway is large making it easy to back up the travel trailer to the site. Water and multiple choices for electric hook up at a convenient location. The common room, kitchen and bathroom are great and the main reason we picked this spot. The area is shaded and quiet with only a few neighbors driving by the entire time we were there. I would highly recommend staying here

A lovely spot for a one night stay during a long road trip! This site was like a breath of fresh air; easy to access, private, and with WONDERFUL amenities like bathroom and shower, laundry, and kitchen. The nature walk is very pleasant and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Would stay again!

Beautiful campground with lots of trees! Amazing for families with many daily and weekend events posted. Ask for a Flo special when treating yourself to an ice cream at the end of the day. It’s not just the ice cream that is special, but the smiles and laughter by “Flo”. Highly recommend this gem of a campground.

This was one of our favorite Hipcamp spots. It was in a very nice, quiet location. Although we never met Aaron and Megan, they were easy to reach through the app. What we loved most about this place was the use of their garage/office space which included a washer/dryer (for a fee), full bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Even though we have a fully contained RV, it was so nice to spread out and make use of these amenities.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had just come from western Nebraska and a night of severe thunderstorms and dust storms. Having a shower available was lovely and the ability to do a couple of loads of laundry was a plus. The neighborhood was quiet as advertised and we had a great night of sleep. The hosts were helpful and communicative. Highly recommend and I am sure if we are passing through the area we will stay again!
