PLEASE BE AWARE! There are no toilets onsite and no water available from October 1st to May 1st. We are open through the winter, but you'll need to be fully containted, and not need water or toilets. Fantastic Hauser Lake, causeway, and National forest basecamp or for a quick overnight stay when you're passing through. Sprawling 20 acres set in the center of 4 lakes in the Helena Valley. 1 1/2 miles from Lakeside, a haven for boaters, swimmers, and not much further to Helena National Forest, and York. Lakeside offers a gas station, convenience store, and wonderful bar/restaurant. Several boat launches and walking paths are also in the area. 9 miles from Helena. Experience a beautiful Prairie setting with awesome sunsets, chickens, roosters, horses, guinea fowl, and stunning views of Hauser Lake and several mountain ranges. Talk to Granny Julie about our horses, chickens, guinea fowl, and other fun stuff to view at the farm! Animals do make noise, and we do have roosters. Guinea Fowl are watchdogs and alert to danger, so they can be noisy from time to time. The horse likes to let us know she wants treats. :) We are a family farm, so children do visit Granny; please drive accordingly. Please note! We are adding picnic tables to the sites to better serve you.

CedarRose Farm is a fantastic former produce farm that we operated for 21 years, surrounded by other friendly smallholdings, art studios and homesteaders. A clean portapotty is on site starting May 3rd through September 15th. We offer campfire popcorn poppers, complete with kernels, oil and butter! S'Mores kits and toasting forks, with enough goodies for 8 S'mores. Check out our 'Extras' and relax and enjoy yourself! Please ask us about visiting us on the farm, we have a shady outdoor dining room you're welcome to enjoy. Ask for directions to "Sunset Point", its a quick hike to a secret campfire ring with perfect lounge chairs and amazing views! There's always something to do, horses to feed and brush, chickens and ducks that need feed and watched by the pond. Stargazing and birdwatching are great here, its very dark at night, almost no light pollution, and I've counted 43 different birds! We love biking, hiking, paddle boarding and having campers! McKenzie was great. She was very quick to reply to questions and super accommodating. Our check in time changed a couple of times d/t unforeseen delays getting to Montana - but she was really easy to work with and understanding. The 5th wheel was great. Lots of space and well kept. Bedrooms were a nice surprise (bigger than appeared in the pics). Shower was hot and plenty large enough for me (6 ft and 245lbs) to clean up. Water and heat were included and welcome. The view of the mountains out of the camper door were a pleasant way to wake up and her property was secluded enough and well kept. Easy instructions and only about an hour north of Bozeman. Would def stay with her again if we made it back up this way.

This is the perfect place for a quick overnight stay. I loved being woken up by the roosters to watch the beautiful sunrise! There scenery is beautiful no matter what direction you look. The host was very friendly and welcoming as well.

What a beautiful location! A little bit of a drive north from I-90, but well worth it. Wonderful sunsets and all the stars! Chris was very friendly and a great host. The campsite was a good size. The portapotty and garbage were easy to get to. Ground was easy to stake a tent. We saw several deer, osprey, bats and pelicans. Would definitely stay here again!

My 2 pups and I enjoyed one night here with an amazing sunset and completely surrounded by country and stunning Mountain View’s. I didn’t want to stay in Bozeman as a solo traveler (Google it) and this was THE PERFECT solution. Quiet with very little dirt road noise and only heard a few planes taking out of Bozeman. Cows and their dropping are present, so if you aren’t a fan, go to a campground. Behind a residence and workshop with very little activity noticed.

When I pulled up to Mackenzie‘s RV, I was a little dismayed to see it parked next to the house but then we met Mackenzie and changed our minds. She was lovely and the RV was so nice and comfortable. My kids loved it. We had a bonfire and walked around and saw the horses. It was a perfect place to stay. We spent time at Canyon ferry the Madison River. This spot OSS really a gem!

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay under the Montana night sky. The horses will keep you company and let you scratch their heads as long as you want. It's close to the quaint downtown of Townsend and the Missouri River. The host Mackenzie was FANTASTIC -- a great communicator and super helpful. Highly recommend!

Such a great place, that we ended up extending our stay 4 more days! Host is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Great communication. Plenty of space for me and my 3 kiddos. And they loved getting to see the animals (horses, cows, deer and a couple cats). Will definitely be back again! 5 stars highly recommend.
