Towering Oaks at White Raven

On a road trip looking to get out of the city, we found a run-down, absentee landlord property off of MO-142. The land had potential, but was neglected. We contacted the owners, bought the property, and started the cleanup. Mountains of garbage and signs of neglect everywhere. We worked hard, loving the land, listening to the land to make it clean, peaceful and full of welcoming energy.

Close  to the Davidson and Tingler Prairie Wildlife area with plenty of hiking and wildlife to view. The camping areas are secluded enough to suit any individual's desire for solitude, yet close to the bathhouse.Come to the main house and set a spell for a cup of tea or coffee. L'isola Farm

In 2012 I realized I wanted to reconnect with nature. I was born and raised in NYC and always felt like something was wrong. It wasn't until I came to the Ozarks that I realized that it was nature that was missing from my life. It's been a long road to normalcy, the land was trashed when I got it and needed to be cleaned. Every structure on the land was build, at least in part, by me. It's rustic to say the least but it's definitely a unique experience.Learn more about this land:This is a quaint off-grid homestead. Living here is a lot like camping. It's located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Ozarks where there are plenty of stars at night and sounds of the birds and frogs always in the air. There is a great little platform in the wooded area of my property where you can set your tent up. You are also welcome to stay a little closer to the 'people area' and partake in daily activities on the farm. We are always doing something fun, sometimes it's using earthen plaster other times it's building with mud.  We have an outdoor shower available in the summer. Composting toilet. Wood cookstove. We are located right off MO State HWY 19, just 2 miles outside the town of Eminence MO, at the top of the hill, where youll also more than likely find the only cell signal. Bordered By CO Rd. 205 which will take you to the beautiful spring fed Jacks Fork river just 1 mile down. The Campground at Willow Springs



Full hook up RV sites for self contained RVs. At this time we do not have any facilities available. Located a half mile from Willow Springs Main Street. Excellent local pizza place close by, gas station next door open 24 hours. Beautiful green space available for walking pets and relaxing. Train does go by at night, but rarely uses horn. Gas station and highway noise can be heard. Management on site and on call 24/7.

The Skygazer

 Tranquil and picturesque Whites creek trickling by as the birds sing in the nearby trees. A perfectly manicured, exclusive campsite awaits your arrival. This one of kind campsite is located just a few miles East of Ava, Mo. The site has a 80sq ft canvas cabin style tent that is not only carpeted and fully furnished, but also equipped with a "sky gazer" retractable roof. Lighting for the site is provided by a portable power unit which is available for guests to charge any of their electronic devices as well. A picnic table with umbrella, a detached restroom, and a fire pit are also available for guest use.

The property offers easy access to Whites creek as well as walking trails to explore the many cave and rock formations in the area. For outdoorsman this site offers easy access to public and private hunting lands as well as world class Smallmouth bass and Rainbow trout fishing opportunities nearby.  

Branson and Springfield are both about an hour away by car. With both cities having numerous restaurants, activities, and attractions for those seeking a little more than the Show Me states natural beauty. Ava is the closest town with goods and services. It sits just 7 miles to the west of this campsite on Missouri Hwy 14. The town has a Walmart a few restaurants as well as numerous gas stations and convenience stores.
