A quiet country retreat nestled in the picturesque rural outskirts of Higginsville, Missouri. Our place consists of three RV sites with water and electric hookups, two camping sites and one on-site travel trailer for rent. Wifi is available at all sites, except for Site 3. Green Acres at Red Brick Farm is located just 50 miles east of Kansas City off of I-70 at Exit 49. Once you are off of I-70 your drive is less than 8 minutes away on all blacktop roads. Site 2 is on gravel with 30 amp hookup and water, preferably best for RV’s and trailers 25’ and under. Site 1 and Site 3 are on gravel with a 20/30/50 amp hookup and water, best suited for larger RV’s and trailers. You may choose your site location, but due to the small number of sites we have we may have to alter your choice. This is so we can accommodate our guests in the best way possible, depending on the size of each rig. If you are towing a vehicle or pulling a trailer your total length should be 55’ or under. We will not accept Triple Axels. Site 4 and site 5 are for tents, pop ups, very tiny trailers and are in flexible locations. A 20 amp standard outlet can be provided for site 4 and site 5. For your use is a shower, toilet, and bathroom sink in our farmhouse basement. Please arrive before dusk, so you don’t disturb other campers. Site 6 Is the on-site travel trailer, ‘Ain’t She Cute’. No Pets are allowed when reserving ‘Ain’t She Cute’. The vintage style travel trailer is completely renovated and decorated with collectibles and antiques and is available for booking. It is furnished with a queen size bed, tiny kitchen, TV, wifi, and full size, not trailer size, bathroom. The trailer is for 2 guests, but an additional guest may sleep on the daybed, preferably a child or small adult. We live onsite in our 1920’s Prairie Style home which is also Red Brick Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with three Guest Rooms available for booking. Look us up online. At your disposal, is the use of our outdoor furniture, a large yard to walk around in, a fire pit, a BBQ grill, and even a tire swing. Our restaurant, Red Shanty Cafe and BBQ, is located in the town of Higginsville, about 5 miles from Red Brick Farmhouse. Red Shanty Cafe is open Weds and Thurs, 11am - 8 pm and Fri and Sat, 11am - 9pm.

Milo Farm was established organically a few years ago. The energy at Milo so amazing we wanted to share! There's a story behind the sacredness of this land, Loni can share that with you if you ask! There are 5 different ecosystems at Milo, all which hold their own magic!🪄 Milo has mant tent sites, car camping sites (for retroverted cars & sprinter vans), 6 cabins, a luxury guest space for you to stay! Sorry we DO NOT have any RV spots at this time. Our cabins are the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse just past the big barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. We have a Hobbit Hut near the Frog Pond, a Boho Bus near the entry way and several Vardos (gypsy wagons). For our tent campers there are tent sites in the Eastfield, including the Movie set location of the DM Cabin, and for diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land. We also have SO may attractions! There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals, a library and more. Find all the portals here! Bless Mother Earth and spend some time in nature at this magical place. Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created! Ask for availability of these things. Milo has a lot to offer! This location was the ancestral land of ancestral peoples (currently their name is unknown) and once you get settled in, you can easily see why! Absolutely one of the BEST camping experiences I’ve had! My cousin and I stayed in a vardo for only one night, and had the most wonderful time. We were able to just relax, be in the middle of such a beautiful property, and met the coolest people! I already have at least two more stays planned, and have told everyone I know about this place!

Lot's of thought and care has gone into the design of this destination. We loved the outdoor components and met some friendly folks in a camper nearby. The loft bed was a bit challenging for this 60+ grandma to climb into so work your core and legs before the trip!

We stayed on the bus which is at the "mouth" of the farm. So it isn't in the woods, as I misunderstood it to be. Staying on the bus is sort of staying in the parking area, right at the entrance to the farm. But we set up our area and "compound" as much as possible as if we were in the woods. The staff is excellent. Friendly and helpful. The grounds are well cared for and immaculate. The trails are well worn and the woods are full of delightful distractions with various sitting areas and interesting art and sculptures. Such as the Zen Meditation area. The land is diverse and the forest reverberates with a steady cadence of vibratory energy. The real "pearl" of Milo is the land, which is truly enchanting (as most woods are) but because of the vision to create a lasting legacy to attract other travelers, Milo Farm should continue to thrive and improve under the loving watch of Loni, the proprietress. I might add, because of her own palpable energy, I think a guiding light of the Divine Feminine is shaping the evolution of the space. If ever there was a time that the Divine Feminine should spread her nurturing wings, it is surely now.

We loved staying at the funky bunkhouse at Milo Farm. The amenities were exactly as advertised. Our kids loved the animals, they even named one of the donkeys ka donk a donk a donk. I loved having a bed to sleep in and a roof for the one rainy night. We all loved the trails and interesting things to see on the land. We definitely want to come back.

My children and I greatly enjoyed our time at Milo Farm. Everyone was kind and friendly. My children enjoyed exploring the trails, though we must return to see them all, and the Hobbit Hut was the perfect amount of whimsy we needed! Whether playing in the rain, cooking our meals on the bonfire, or naming frogs by the pond...everything felt otherworldly. It was three days of peaceful, healing energy. The animals were such a pleasure to see, the library is truly a gem, and the art studio was an immediate hit with the kids. Would highly recommend and already looking at dates for a future visit.

The Hobbit Hut is a quaint and charming little cabin decorated with mushrooms and gnomes. It has what you need for a quite away from everything trip. The people that are around are friendly along with the animals. The trails in the forest allow you to come back to nature and just relax. It was truly a great trip to disconnect and recharge.

Good value, I just wish that the air conditioner had worked for the entire stay, that the out door Christmas lights were working and there were no mouse droppings on the beds, but all of that is expected since we are basically on a farm. Take care of your trash/leftover food because the donkeys will scatter it if you don’t take it to the recycling/trash sorting place! The land was great and we enjoyed the time together. Would recommend for people who have kids and don’t want to put up a tent.

MILO farms was a great area to explore. All the lands and landmarks blend in with the beautiful wildlife. Everyone we met was friendly, even I. The donkeys were a little standoffish at first. The boho bus was small but cozy, another very thoughtfully put-together space. We visited for a surprising warm weekend in fervruary but hope to come back in summer/fall!
