LARGE GROUPS - We are hosting events! Graduation parties, small weddings, family reunions, you name it. You can rent the whole campground for a day a night, a weekend, or a whole week if that suits your need. Just send us a message and we can talk about it. We can also accommodate large groups at a single campsite or you can rent several of them. Our primary guideline is that if your event will be held while other campers are here, it cannot disturb them. So, consider renting the whole campground. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please plan to arrive and set up camp between 3 and 9 PM. If you are planning to arrive after 9 PM, please send us a message letting us know. We decide on a case by case basis since we prefer not to have late arrivals. In any event we do not accept arrivals after 11 PM except in an emergency since many campers and your host may have already gone to bed. Overview: Our beautiful 10 acre farm and homestead is situated between Ann Arbor and Dexter not far from the Huron River. The 5 acre area where our campsites are located is wooded with mature oak, maple, walnut, elm, and white pine trees. We're isolated and surrounded by wild areas and natural farm land but just a 10 minute drive to restaurants, groceries, fuel, and other amenities. The Ann Arbor area is home to a huge array of world class events from the Ark music venue to National Champions Michigan home football games and a whole lot more. Downtown Ann Arbor or Dexter or Chelsea is only a 15 minute car drive. White Lotus Farms, which has a wonderful farm market on Saturdays from 9 - 2 and Wednesdays from 9 - 1, is a 10 minute walk down our dirt road. If you forget to bring something that you need, don't hesitate to ask! We've got a growing number of camping essentials for rent or sale for very reasonable prices that can make your stay even more enjoyable: from bug repellants to camp chairs, potable water in 2.5 - 5 gallon containers, and more. NEW IN 2025 we have installed a hose with potable water near the entrance to the campground for your convenience.

WHAT'S NEW ON THE FARM 2025 This year we are expecting a foal (baby horse). The end of April. We are also milking a family cow for our own milk as well. Her name is Daisy. We are also bottle feeding two calves at this time. We will have Great Pyrenees puppies from April through mid July. Come and spend some time with them! ABOUT DOREEN I’m an entrepreneur. I’m all about health and taking care of the mind, body and spirit. I’m an organic farmer, an animal nut, health coach, mindset mentor and Psych-K facilitator. I have six children and hosted three foreign exchange students. I love kids, animals (especially horses) and nature. I love anything and everything about health and personal growth and well being. ABOUT THE FARM We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly. You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021) and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment. Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there. After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! It is greatly appreciated!

We absolutely loved our stay on Michael’s land! We stayed at Site 9 so we had a very secluded spot with an amazing view. It was very quiet and peaceful. The only downside was it was quite a walk back and forth to the porta potty, something to keep in mind, but we didn’t mind the walk, it was nice scenery to walk through.

Pete was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive— and his dog Geddeon (I think that’s how it’s spelled) treated me as if I had known him for years. This place is perfect for a quick getaway that’s only a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommend staying here. There are several campsites to choose from depending on what you’re looking for and each has its own quirks.

We loved camping on Pete and Olga’s property! We had a wonderful experience and everything was perfect. The property was very well maintained and the natural surrounding was magical. The pond was a beautiful sight my 3 year old loved it. The area was breathtaking especially at sunset and sunrise. The hosts are wonderful kind people and were very helpful when we needed them. They made us feel like family. We will definitely be back to camp here more!

We enjoyed our stay at Pete’s place! Very spacious place to park our camper van with a nice view. There is an outhouse and a large fire pit area with firewood that can be purchased on site. Pete was very friendly, professional and met us upon our arrival with helpful information to know. We will be back!
