Heritage Hills isn't called Heritage Hills for nothing! It's situated on 21 acres of what was the original Wawonowin Country Club, a 9-hole golf course that was built in the early 1800s and then closed in the mid 1960s. And now we have a beautiful mix of hardwoods and pines, forests and fields with multiplied non-motorized trails accessible right off the property. The very popular RAMBA bike trails are literally an ‘stones throw’ away! Our biggest site, Fairway Field is big enough for group camping that horse campers love, and one site, the Homestead, with an electric hookup. We don’t have a dump station or trash cans so please pack in and pack out. Phone signal is good throughout the area and we are close to civilization for necessities and only 20 minutes from Marquette. So much stuff to do in this area!

We loved our stay at Hole 1 very much! It was so quiet and peaceful. Portajohn was super clean. Hosts were very kind. Did a small walk from our campsite but could have spent more time to explore the trails around it because the fall colors were beautiful.

This is one of the best spots to camp near Marquette. It's quiet, with plenty of space. Great access to the trails and the nearby towns of Ishpeming and Negaunee. Phil and Joni are so nice.

Fairway Field was a great spot at Heritage Hills farm. It was large, level and very private. Phil met us as we arrived and showed us exactly where to park. Despite rain all day the grassy site was not soft and we were able to pull out in the morning without any problems.

This must be our third or fourth time staying on Joni & Phil's land. The site is perfect. Secluded, but right in the middle of everything. Access to great trails and just a drive away from anything that you could want. This place just keeps bringing us back again and again.

We were able to grab a place last minute on their horse farm. The horses sort of wonder around during the day and it was nice to have them there. They had everything we needed, picnic table, fire pit, porta john, flat spot, firewood and running water. Very nice people and a lovely place. It met our needs perfectly.

The space is amazing! I had 7 in my group and the there was more than enough space. Both hosts were very polite even when we misunderstood the directions, they were understanding and friendly.
