It has a king size bed (twin beds set up available in extras), small refrigerator, two fans (no air conditioning), microwave, toaster, and electric tea kettle. The outdoor private space next to the cabin includes a table and chairs, propane grill,  and a spacious campfire area. The rustic out-building has hot and cold water for the shower, double stainless sink and a counter to prepare meals on. The kitchen is appointed with two stainless steel pots, large cast iron frying pan, colander,  cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, can opener, and metal hot dog/marshmallow skewers for campfire. Please bring your own bath and beach towels, bug spray, and bug free firewood. Kids? Dogs? Additional Guests? You can set up your tent or pop-up camper. We had a wonderful stay at the Bunkhouse Among the Pines! Christine's cabin was a perfect place to rest after exploring the Traverse City area. The outhouse was clean and the outdoor shower was hot. We were very comfortable and enjoyed watching fireflies in the evening and birds in the morning. On our trip we went blueberry picking, cherry picking and hiking at Sleeping Bear Dunes. The location was perfect. Thank you Christine for being a wonderful host!

It's definitely a more isolated place. Quiet, just the noise of the land itself.. It was off a local road that isn't heavy with traffic. The little cabin was nice, nothing fancy, but by itself. A peaceful place to rest. Plenty of firewood was available for use. The air mattress want to our looking, but a matter of preference really. Otherwise, a cozy little spot we spent the night in. Owners were very friendly, we apparently are the first to use this cabin, so your experience may be quite different from ours. We just needed a last minute place to crash when plans fell through, and this did the job very well.

My family absolutely loved staying in the little cabin. Lots of room and the necessities are already provided, including warm running water. Christine was an excellent host, offering us an extra night after missing the first from car troubles during travel. Very grateful for her kindness and flexibility, as we had a hard time finding the correct spot for putting up the tent after a long few days of travel. She was more concerned about the slant than the fact we were in the wrong spot. Hoping to return in the future!

Jeff was a wonderful host! The cabin was nice and clean. He had everything you would need while camping, cooking utensils, pans, flashlight and Lanterns, and so many more little items you may forget. He turely has the site set up with more than you would expect. The site is private but still convenient to get to the lake or town. I would highly recommend Jeff’s cabin and plan to go back next year.

Christine’s bunkhouse is perfectly located—just about 20 minutes from anything your heart desires in the Leelanau area, right in the middle of all the action. The bunkhouse and surrounding buildings were a great touch and made us feel right at home, with everything we needed. Cedar, MI is just down the road with a charming little downtown, a grocery/gas station, and an ice cream shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Jeff's property was perfect place to relax and unwind! Cabin was clean and cozy. Cabin had heater which was plus for us on a chilly night. Jeff was a great host, came by even during late hours to show us the property and amenities. Property had all the utensils, grill items to cook which we had not seen in any other hip camp sites. Overall we had an amazing stay.

Hosting May 22 - mid/Oct My husband Dan and I purchased this property 5 years ago and have totally restored the land, home and barn from its prior condition. Consequently, if you view the various on line satellite images be advised they are out of date and do not reflect the love we have put into our sanctuary. We are retired and live here with our two standard poodles Mila and Indiana. The property is 5 acres, mostly meadow with a maple grove as well as a wooded ravine. We have planted various fruit trees, cherries, apples, peach as well as pears. We also have a small grape and berry patch which is next to our vintage trailer. There is also an old abandoned trail through the forest that makes for a nice walk. Our location is convenient to Traverse City, Alden, Belaire, Kalkaska as well as the equestrian center and the casino in Williamsburg. There are various places to eat/drink within close proximity as well as places to purchase fuel, groceries and liquor. Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas are a convenient drive where you can visit the many vineyards, orchards and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the lake and bays, or shop some of the unique stores and galleries. There are many off road vehicle and bike trails that are not far away as well. As well as boating on beautiful Torch Lake and the chain of lakes. A day trip to Sleeping Bear dunes is well worth the drive. We would be happy to make suggestions on activities, dining, entertainment during your stay. We currently have three sites which are on seperate areas of the property. Lake View site is a Vintage 1985 Avion travel trailer which as been completely renovated with all new systems. It is located with a western view of Lake Skegemog and next to our grape and berry patch in our back yard. Maple Grove site is a new Coachmen Catalina Destination series RV. It is located on the front side of the property next to the maple tree grove. Lavender Lane is located in front of our barn with a view of our small orchard and the forest, close to the walking trail. All our sites are fully outfitted with quality linens, towels, dishes and cooking equipment. All of the units have Air Conditioned and heat.
