The cosy treehouse comes with a log-burner to keep you cosy and enjoys breathtaking views from the balcony. The surroundings are completely secluded and perfectly private - you will only have the birds and wild deer who roam the forest as neighbours. Guests can also enjoy the use of the summer-house, perfect for BBQs in the summer months, and the rowing boat on the lake. The tree-house is eco-friendly and totally off-grid so is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and undisturbed stay. The treehouse has a double bed with plenty of comfy cushions and pillows while the log-burning stove means you can stay warm and cosy, even on the colder nights. Logs can be purchased from the owners upon arrival for £5. A kettle can be boiled and basic cooking can be done on a 2 ring gas-fired camp stove, complete with kitchen utensils, pots and pans to rustle up a meal. Fresh water is provided for guests from a bowser. The private, eco-friendly, sawdust toilet is in a separate structure nestled amongst the trees. Please note there is no shower facility and guests will have to bring their own towels. Guests will be met by the owners who will transport you down to the treehouse in a jeep. Guests will have access to the jeep for the duration of their stay. Lovely campsite, the pods look like Tellytubby Land! It's a bit of a walk into Bude probably 40mins but the park and ride is almost opposite the site and very reasonable. We stayed in the Tree House, it was comfy and clean. It has a kettle, microwave, toaster, BBQ and fridge which is so convenient. Would recommend taking your usual cooking kit as there are plates, mugs, bowls and glasses but not pots and pans or stove. I might also take a picnic table if you like to sit in the sun as the seating area is shady. No curtains means you need a sleep mask if you like a dark room but I loved waking up to the sight of a blue sky. Would also recommend a torch for going up and down the steps at night.

We had a great time staying at Strawberry Lane Tree Tent. You really are removed from everyday hectic life to be at one with nature. The site has everything you need and the facilities were excellent. You can park close to the site, it is clearly signposted and a trolley is provided to carry your belongings. It was such a wonderful experience sleeping up in the trees even in high winds! The mini log burner in the tent heated up quickly and kept us nice and warm. The log burning bath was also a great. Shira sent useful and detailed information about our stay and the local area. If you are looking for something unique and to escape to the country I would highly recommend Strawberry Lane Tree Tent.
