If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together. -This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING... 30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Firewood was readily available, the outhouse was a plus and the drive from Montgomery county was a breeze. It had all of the amenities we needed (campfire grate for cooking, unlimited wood, picnic table and benches), and the campsites had enough distance apart from each other. I didn’t get to meet Scott in-person but he was very communicative and accommodating for me and my dogs. I will definitely be coming back!

Easy to find site but definitely have an off road capable vehicle to cross the stream. Low slung sedans won't make it Camp site was clean, flat, and private. Only major criticism is easier access to the Porta John. You need to drive back across the stream to get to it as the sewer pipe cannot be used to walk across. Driving out isn't always a option with tents in the way. My other personal opinion is the fire ring could be bigger. Seemed too small for such a large site

My husband, myself, our kids and grandkids all met up at this amazing farm just overnight for a wonderful and rare campfire get together, but wished we had stayed longer. The grandkids loved all the animals but especially Zeus, the big, super sweet dog of the property! The expansive property accommodates RVs well with plenty of space to be private yet camp amongst the animals. Our camp host greeted us, got us set up with power, and told us all about the workings of the farm and all that was available to us on the property. These extras that you don’t normally get at most Hipcamp properties was really cool! A barn with a restroom and gathering area where chili was available the night we were there along with many homemade and local goodies like shortbread cookies, honey, dried lavender sachets and produce for purchase. We happily donated a small amount toward taking care of the rescued animals on the farm. A couple of our kids and their families live in the area so we will definitely be back! Oh my gosh....What an absolutely fabulous little gem this tiny house is! Lovely and clean, with a microwave , fridge, heat and AC, and coffee maker. A cozy fire pit is nearby as is a hot tub surrounded by twinkling lights. Andrea was such a super helpful hostess and genuinely nice getting me set up. And of course , it was fun to go visit the goats and farm animals. It was just the getaway I needed and I will definitely be back! 😃🐐🐖🐎🐈🐕🐄🔥❤️

Tons of space to spread out along the river. Gorgeous property with tall trees and privacy. We were met with a bundle of firewood brought to us by our gracious host. The Adirondack chairs were very comfortable to sit around the large fire pit. I would definitely recommend this site for campers with simple needs. Peaceful and serene location behind the host’s house, not far from amenities. Pull up a chair and relax by the river.

Plenty of space for us and our two dogs. Lots of fallen tress to choose firewood from. Curtis came by the site to check on us which I thought was nice. Will love to come back in the spring.

This was a lovely place to camp. Site 1 is closest to the road, but there is very little traffic and the sounds of the running creek cover almost all noise. Probably the best I've ever slept while camping.

This ended up being our favorite stop on our ten day (ten different campsite) roadtrip! The dogs were a little overwhelming at first, jumping on our car and barking at us as we unpacked… but by morning we had made three new best friends 🐕 they slept by our tent through the night and protected us, they kept us company and my son loved playing with them. The pasture was well kept and they had the best portapotty I think I’ve ever been in. It didn’t smell at all (no idea how that’s possible) and had string lights, sanitizer, a mirror, etc. The sheep were a joy to wake up next to and pet- one came right up to the fence when we walked over! The alpaca was cute and the host communicated well too. Our family favorite!

Weekend Trip to Fiddlers Green Farm
I love this camp site and farm. The owners are really nice, welcoming, and helpful. The camp site is awesome - plenty of space and it's right by the creek. I love that it's wooded and feels secluded, even though Taneytown is only a few minutes away. The farm and property is picturesque, especially in the fall. It's seems like something more out of a movie than real life. We will definitely be back again :)

Overall, this was a great camping spot — beautiful views and an easy walk to the river. The only downsides were that it could’ve been cleaned up a bit more (some faded signs and a little trash here and there), and our site was closer to the road than expected, so there was some traffic noise. And while not the campground’s fault, there were so many spiders! That said, I’d still be more than likely to come back — no place is perfect, and that’s part of the camping experience!
