Catoctin Quaker Camp was established in 1958 and its 385 acres are mostly forests. There is a pond, bathhouse, and plenty of land to explore (385 acres). The camp is located on Frederick County's South Mountain formation and is adjacent to the Frederick City watershed which is filled with beautiful trails. We have 8 different cabins available to rent and the option to book out the entire property. Toilets, showers, picnic tables, and potable water are all available on site. Campfires are permitted! No pets allowed. Catoctin Mountain National Park, Cunningham Falls State Park and Gambril State Park are all within a 10 to 15-minute drive. Adventure awaits at Catoctin Mountain Park! Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this park is the perfect getaway. Hike a trail and enjoy an epic view.

Pull up your RV [or rent ours], pitch a tent, kick up your feet and relax by the water. Soak in the sounds of nature and the sight of wild birds, from the Osprey, Bald Eagle and even the Great Blue Heron. We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. There are no hookups, but during your stay, feel free to patronize the entire property. The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach! OUTDOOR POOL AND RAFT USE - The outdoor pool is closed indefinitely. There is a 4-person raft and a 2-person inflatable kayak available, for an additional fee per day. Both require PRIOR APPROVAL and a WAIVER to utilize.

We loved our stay at this place so much! Katherine’s cabin was beautiful, with a tall canopy overhead and very peaceful nights. The bathroom facilities were also very nice with nice hot water for showers at the end of the day.

Rustic and full of Quaker magic!!! This cabin is closest to the bathhouse (with real toilets). It’s also near the secret fire circle, but not too close- we were able to sleep in quiet with a couple dozen friends enjoying the fire still.
