The stone building has an old school bell on top and may have been a school at one time. Otherwise the history has been lost ...The property has nice open and shaded places to wander. The sites are packed together pretty tight, but the campground is very close to the battlefield which is what we wanted. Bathrooms and showers were nice and cleaned regularly.

Weekend Trip to Private Farm Near Gettysburg

Just as described. Super easy access from the main road. Host came out to greet us and then let us be. Great place for letting the dogs out. Nice, flat site to set up the camper with pleasant views of the neighboring farms. Only recommendation I would make is to bring an extra long extension cord if you are planning on plugging into shore power. This will allow you to set up further away from the main barn. Will definitely return.

4 nights at Gettysburg Battlefield Resort

The closeness to the Battlefield! We were there specifically to tour the Battlefield for 4 days! It was a small pull through, if you were only staying one night you’d have to disconnect your tow vehicle, but our 18’ fit nicely! The laundry/shower facilities were kept clean and convenient! A food truck did come in two nights, there were activities for family and pet friendly!

Weekend Trip to Private Farm Near Gettysburg

James was quick to confirm the stay and the directions to the property and how to enter from the road were spot on. We rented site 3 and there was a an old truck already in the spot. You could tell it had been there a while, so we stayed anyway. The site was nice, woke up to see horses running around and it was fairly quiet, save for some neighbors dogs barking in the distance. The site was supposed to be marked with Orange cones, and it wasn't. That made it a little confusing.
