Welcome to a serene campsite tucked in the forest overlooking a cascading brook. Set up camp and let the your immersion in nature begin. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee by the fire or streaming music under the stars, this is a space to both unwind and reconnect. As one guest put it: "Very nice spot overlooking a brook with an amazing fire location (calling it a pit doesn't begin to describe it)." – Mike R. Explore our private nature trail that winds along the brook to the beaver dam. Many of the Hemlock trees you will pass are between 150 to 300 years old. This forest is moist and cool and supports a diverse ecosystem, teaming with life. Though you’ll feel miles from anywhere—strong WiFi helps give peace of mind, making plans, working remotely, staying in touch, or stargazing with a soundtrack. We’re located 2 miles off route 16, the major highway through this area. We feel worlds away, but are only 15 minutes from groceries, pharmacies and an EV charging station. We are 25 minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, nestled along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire’s largest lake. The region is rich with outdoor adventure—hiking and mountain biking trails, paddling on rivers and lakes, and scenic views at every turn. The Cotton Valley Rail Trail is just a short drive away. Craving a seaside day trip? An hour gets you to the coastlines of Maine and New Hampshire—with their rocky outcroppings, sandy beaches, and postcard-perfect towns like Portsmouth, York, Kennebunkport and Ogunquit.

Family owned property obtained through the barter system. You shingle my barn and I'll give you that property. My Pappy's land. 11 acres. Recently cleared for its timber. With some landscaping it became clear that beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes, concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet. Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any. 2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience. WELCOME BACK for 2026... 2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season. I look forward to hosting new and repeat campers. There is a free weekend offer for those who would like to camp and work to prepare for Memorial Day weekend. WELCOME ALL!!
