The fire pit was perfect with plenty of downed wood provided by Kilene. The directions provided were spot on, easy to follow and our host was always prompt to respond to messages. The camp site was absolutely wonderful! Surrounded by trees of red and brown it was a beautiful site to spend time in. Right around the corner was Boothbay harbor where we rode our bikes and watched the sunset. And the fire pit was a lovely place to end the day. I will definitely be coming back here again! Kilene is a wonderful host and person! Could not recommend more!

This was a great site! Super clean and it's secluded enough so you have privacy but there are other homes (can't hear your neighbors or see their houses from the site) and the street nearby to ensure you feel safe. I saw a handful of cars the whole time I was there. It did not affect my stay, at all. The pictures are a great representation of the site. The firepit was awesome and Kilene gathered wood for me which was really nice! The site was super quiet and I could enjoy the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. At night, no light pollution, and I slept great! The loop that Kilene mentions, which brought me by the landing and the ocean was perfect for my pup and I. Don't miss this..the beach and views are absolutely gorgeous.The site is also close to Boothbay Craft Brewery, which was AWESOME and I could bring my dog, as well. Kilene was lovely to communicate with and I will absolutely be back!!

Just off Route 125, our property offers a space to sleep and cook—no amenities, just the beauty of the outdoors and a place to poop. ***Winter is coming, and we will not be plowing the road to the site, we will allow instant bookings till the driveway is impassable, then we will cancel*** The land borders a lush greenway and a rare wetland ecosystem called a fen. Expect visits from chipmunks, wild turkeys, raccoons, possums, porcupines, and possibly a sharp-shinned hawk overhead or a deer wandering through. With dry leaves on the ground, even small critters can sound surprisingly big, adding to the wild charm of the place. Though the campsite is set back on the property, you may still hear some road noise from Route 125. There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain. From 5 Kezars rd turn right onto Kezars Ridge Drive, the last camp road before the pavement ends.) At 0.6 miles keep right onto 5 Kezar Ponds Road. Look for a GLLT sign on the right. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. Here is a link for all Lovell Land trust trails: https://www.gllt.org/five-kezars-reserve 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. THOMAS POND Thomas Pond is a beautiful 533-acre freshwater with miles of shoreline. Thomas Pond’s maximum depth is 64 feet, and the mean depth is 22 feet. Our guests are welcome to kayak, canoe, swim, fish, and paddle board from the shores of The Queen’s Property, or one of 5 Right of Ways on Watkins Shores Road owned by our Association. Access to your private waterfront is a short stroll through our woods. In fact, you can even order your groceries online for pickup, (free at Hannaford Brothers Grocery and Walmart) either on your way to your campsite or when you need to resupply your camp (we would be happy to give you the details). During your stay, you may also want to take a trip off-site to explore all that the Lakes Region offers. Explore the historic oceanfront City of Portland, or the local Towns of Windham, Naples, or Bridgton. Portland is a 35 minute drive from The Queen's Property. The coastline around Portland is rugged and attractive with world-famous lighthouses dotted along its shorelines. Numerous locally owned shops and nationally recognized restaurants can be found tucked into its many harbors and shorelines. Closer to camp, enjoy strolling through the Town of Naples. Naples sits smack-dab in the middle of the Sebago Lakes Region. Sebago Lake abuts its western border and Long Lake abuts its eastern border. A short 8-minute drive from your site, Naples spoils its visitors with boat rentals, waterfront shops, and awesome restaurants. Further north is the Town of Bridgton. Sebago Lake is a deep glacial lake, and by itself is 44 square miles of clear waters that abut Sebago Lake State Park. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public.
