This was one of the most beautiful campsites we’ve experienced. It was quiet. We were secluded. The view of the lake and the hills was mesmerizing. We got up just a little early to watch the sun come up. Katie was friendly and accommodating. Free Fire Wood - YAY! We will be back.

My husband I spent the weekend camping and fishing at PeaceTree Farms. The host, Katie, recommended Reflection Ridge and we loved it so much we’ve already booked a weekend next month to come back with a few friends.
The fishing was fantastic.. In 24hrs and on the bank right below our site, I caught 9 REALLY nice sized catfish and 8 bass, and my husband caught 14 bass. No trouble with snags in the water which, let’s be honest, makes for a much more relaxing fishing experience lol.
Our campsite was a very big area - peaceful, quiet, private, well kept. It came with a fire pit, picnic table, 2 benches, and they even provided free firewood. The lake view was beautiful and you can see so many stars out there. They have a couple canoes and a small boat you take out on the water as well. Showers and indoor toilets are available just a short drive away from the site, but there is also a porta potty a little closer. Cell reception (T-Mobile) was good, although the only time I used it was to send photos of the monster catfish I was catching :) This place makes it very easy to disconnect by choice.
Katie was super friendly and showed us around a bit before taking us to our site. Their property really is stunning, you can tell it’s cared for with love. Highly recommend and we’re pumped to be going back in just a few weeks!

This was our second time in the past month visiting and we loved it even more. We’ve been bringing our son and his friends for their first camping trips and it’s such a great time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing camp experience in the gorgeous hills of Missouri.

We loved our stay on Katie’s land! Katie was a wonderful host, she was so helpful and kind and made sure we knew where everything was on the property. We stayed over the 4th of July because we wanted to get our dog away from the city’s loud fireworks and Peacetree Farm was a perfect solution! We booked the reflection ridge campsite right next to the lake and the view was beautiful. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Jensen Woods is a camp, not a camp site. It is not just a sleeping spot. The difference in our stay was the access to showers, bathrooms, fishing, nice scenery, a small archery range, and a lot of space. The sites are large, spacious, have electric and water, and there is a dump station close by for black and grey.
If you are going to stay in your RV for much of the trip, this is a great summer place to visit. However, during the summer, Illinois is the happy home to ticks. We use a grass covering (9x6) at our steps landing, but we still found it necessary to spray, check, and actually had to pull out one tick that had nestled its way into one of us. We would recommend this camp for nature lovers (during the summer), and everyone else outside of tick season (check google for more info).
Finally, your stay at Jensen Woods supports their mission/ministry to provide youth retreats/camps during the summer months. So, your stay does help a good cause. Keep Camping!

Really beautiful property with rolling hills. This spot has a gorgeous view looking out across the landscape and the lake. There are portapotties at each site and lots of open space around the campsite. Had a lot of fun taking our dogs out on the row boat. Also an abundance of different song birds. I would definitely stay here again. Such a nice retreat.

I enjoyed staying at Peacetree farms. Nature, air, lake...
The most valuable was the owners hospitality. They actually took extra mile efforts to help my staying become the greatest time I've spent on my short vacation.
And I caught a big fish 🙂
