This was our first experience booking a stay with hipcamp, and it's really going to be a tough one to beat! The stay at Rob and Mike's was incredible, and I'm sure we'll be comparing all of our future adventures to this one--it will be difficult to live up to! The RV was great, the grounds were spectacular, and the ranch experience Rob and Mike led us through was something the kids and I won't forget anytime soon. They're already asking when we can go back! I honestly can't think of anything they could have done to make the stay better...they nailed everything from the big-picture stuff to the nitty-gritty details. Truly a wonderful experience. I would (and have!) recommend this to everyone I know--especially those with kids!

Our Family absolutely loved our stay! The campground was beautiful and peaceful, and all the attention to detail was amazing! We loved seeing the donkeys and horses come visit us every morning, it was the most fun way to start the day! We will for sure be back to stay again if we are ever traveling in the area.

Weekend Trip to Lucky U Ranch
What was meant to be a mother/daughter weekend getaway has turned into a family tradition thanks to Rob and Mike’s amazing accommodations and property! I live in Florida, in fact not far from this property and yet we felt like we were deep in the woods on a gorgeous property with awesome trails. The donkeys and horses are my daughter’s favorite. Oh and the farm tour, top notch! You can tell how much Rob and Mike love their animals, with 5 star accommodations for all their animals. Every moment at Lucky U Ranch has made precious memories we will cherish forever! Rob and Mike are the bests hosts and just awesome guys! You won’t be disappointed. Cant wait to book our next trip with them!

The cabana was clean, modern and comfortable, perfect for a weekend getaway. It was also stocked with all of the essentials. There were two pools, and plenty of hosted activities throughout the day for kids. The live music was also a nice touch. You have everything onsite - basketball court, volleyball, yard games, bars, restaurants, and a store, but also just a short drive to nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a fun, stress-free retreat with a touch of comfort!

3 nights at Lucky U Ranch
We absolutely loved our time there! It was quiet and interacting with the horses and donkeys at your site was awesome. The camper had everything we needed and I used the coffee bar area in the morning even though there was a coffee maker in the camper. It was nice just sitting around hearing the animal noises, especially the donkeys! I also did the walking trails in the woods and then took a break on a tree swing. It was very relaxing. Rob & Mike were excellent hosts and definitely, get a tour of the ranch, it was well worth it!

This was my first time camping and Rob and Mike made this experience so warm and welcoming. I was in the camper which came with everything that I needed to make me comfortable and cozy. I adore the amenities, the showers and restrooms were so clean and helpful and amazing. I just want to cry about how wonderful how the animals are so loved and taken care of. We had the experience of being with all of the animals, and the animals are so loved! The energy and kindness and patience from Rob and Mike was so special. My family was included into the activities and that made my heart melt. I am officially hooked on Lucky U Ranch and I want to bring my family and friends here again. My time here was so much fun! If I could give Lucky U Ranch 10 Stars I would! Thank you Rob and Mike for your support (I came in late) and sharing your camp experience with me and my group.

Incredible place to stay with farm animals to feed, clean bathrooms, fast WiFi, fresh towels, all you can drink coffee and hot chocolate, and very responsive and friendly hosts. It’s the perfect place to bring a family, close to numerous state parks and natural springs. It’s worth the drive, regardless of where you’re driving from!

We have always have such an amazing time at lucky U Ranch! Rob and Mike are fantastic and are always so pleasant. It is definitely our home away from home and absolutely beautiful there. If you are looking for a one of a kind experience I highly recommend making a trip there!

My family had a great time at Lucky U Ranch. The accommodations were well done, the property is beautiful. Really peaceful out there. Having the horses and donkeys free roaming was a lot of fun, my kids enjoyed that immensely. The ranch is kept very clean. There are trails on property to explore, and you might find yourself walking alongside donkeys while doing so 😀 The outdoor showers and bathrooms are well thought out and kept clean. I absolutely plan on returning again

We enjoyed our stay at lucky u ranch. We got to see all the animals and were visited daily by the donkeys and horses. The kids really enjoyed playing outside. Rob and Mike are extremely accommodating and kind hosts. 10/10 recommend!

We booked the camper last minute for a few nights over Christmas break with our two young kids and our dog and had the BEST time! Mike and Rob were very accommodating and the tour of the ranch was educational and fun for the kids. The horses and donkey's roaming around the property are so friendly my five year old fell in love with all of them. The restrooms/showers were also very nice and kept very clean. We'll be recommending this place to everyone we know, and we'll definitely be back too!

We had a wonderful time at Forest Edge. Rob and Mike went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They were so accommodating to let us keep our reservation after the Withlacoochee flooded areas of the ranch due to Hurricane Helene. We had a lot of fun swinging in the blue swing and walking around to find the horses and donkeys. Our girls loved feeding them. On Saturday Rob and Mike took us on the Ranch tour and we were able to meet all the other animals on the Ranch. We even were able to a pet a turkey, really cool. This was our first time staying in a RV and we really enjoyed it. The RV was clean and well stocked with things for the kitchen, towels and shampoos for the shower. We had fun relaxing at the RV, hanging out with "Purrman" the cat, watching movies on the outside RV TV, making bonfires both nights and eating Smores. We made a lot of memories and can't wait to return!!
