This campsite was an absolute dream! It felt like discovering a private oasis tucked away in nature. The private lagoon was stunning — peaceful, and perfect for a swim or a relaxing canoe ride. Having our own canoe to explore the water made the experience even more special. The evening was just as magical, sitting by the fireplace under the stars. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they put a lot of care into maintaining the place — everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up. The location is ideal—tucked away in a quiet area that allows you to relax, yet conveniently close to everything. It's just a short drive to the beach, and there are plenty of great restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The host, Chris, was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He also provided some great local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. Additionally, the RV offered a comfortable space, equipped with all the essentials needed for the stay.

Honey's place is an amazing little oasis in the heart of Miami. I was not expecting it to be as beautiful and serene as it was, but it exceeded all expectations!! John is not one of those hosts that is snooping around your campsite, but he is always reachable via message, and that makes him a great caretaker. The grounds are very clean and the location is within a 15 - 30 min drive to most attractions or major locations in Miami. My wife, mother in law, and I, loved our time at honey's place and can't wait to go back!!!

Very pleasant stay amongst the old growth avocado trees. This was a fantastic stay for us as we like minimalist camping (overland conversion, rooftop tent) We have our own water, power and ability to cook however bathroom with running water is the one thing we still at times depend on. We got both with this site, as well as a tour and some mangos from our wonderful host Joanne. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing! John has a really special place here and we certainly enjoyed our stay. This was such a peaceful retreat away from the hustle of the city. It is well located for day trips in the city, but also has anything you may need close by. John was incredibly kind and welcoming. I so appreciated waking up to the water and palms outside our windows. We would happily stay again!

John’s property is gorgeous! I can tell he’s passionate about it and wants his guests to have an amazing experience. If staying in summer I would definitely recommend a tent fan or cooler of some sort as the weather can be extremely humid. My fiancée and I loved the pond and the fish in it as well as all the little lizards. His set up with the lights and mini-beach under coconut trees is breathtaking! I hope to be able to come back sometime 😄
