A gem of a HipCamp that is a perfect stop before heading to the Keys. Really enjoyed a quick overnight stay. The site itself is secluded and really great looking. The only issues are a little tight entry gate for any longer RVs. There was also some noice from a next door property in the morning, but I would definitely say not the fault of the host. Last thing is road right outside the property is not the best maintained gravel road, but it is ok if you go slow, and only a couple of hundred feet from the Main Street to the property.

Having our own canoe to explore the water made the experience even more special. The evening was just as magical, sitting by the fireplace under the stars. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they put a lot of care into maintaining the place — everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up. John is not one of those hosts that is snooping around your campsite, but he is always reachable via message, and that makes him a great caretaker. The grounds are very clean and the location is within a 15 - 30 min drive to most attractions or major locations in Miami.
