An outhouse is near the cabin as well as an outdoor, gravity fed shower, which is supplied from a rain barrel. This place is as rustic as you can get while still giving options for comfort. You won't find more clear night views anywhere else. The nighttime scenery is worth the trip alone.

FOB Pelican at Little Pelican Bayou

FOB Pelican is a small peninsula surrounded by Little Pelican Bayou. We have an airstream camper rental which can accommodate 2 to 3 people. There’s also another shower and restroom within a few feet for larger showering space. The FOB has an air conditioned trolley car converted into a bar that overlooks the bayou. There’s a larger outdoor bar that also overlooks the bayou. We also have a small beach with canoes and kayaks. FOB Pelican also has a two bedroom, two bathroom house with front and back porches. The back porch overlooks the bayou as well. There’s feeders that attract numerous turtles and fish to watch at feeding times. The bayou leads out to the Blackwater River accessing downtown Milton river walk or go south into the bay and Pensacola. We have an RV electrical and water hookup as well.

There's a 1/2 mile paved bike path from Camp Coastal to the Ed Walline public beach access! There's also Gulf Place across the street from the beach with it's numerous restaurants, shopping and activities. Also to note if vacationing with children or teens - appx. 1/2 mile just north of Camp Coastal along 393 is Helen McCall Park. A wonderful playground with a splash pad for the younger kids and a great skatepark with a bowl for the older ones.
