Located near the Gulf of Mexico at the top of the state called the Big Bend area. Weather you like to fish or collect scallops in the clear water during the season this is the place..Scallop season is July 1st-Sept 24th....If you want to escape the cold come down this winter and enjoy the warmth of Taylor County...The historic Suwannee River is 30 mins away or you can take the beach road 17 miles to Steinhatchee and have dinner at famous Roy’s restaurant.. There’s a convenience store down the road in case you forgot something...Come and see us and thanks again...Learn more about this land:We are perfectly located less than a mile from the Gulf of Mexico! Come out and get out for Scallop season July to Sept. Here and in the area you will find excellent fishing year round and hunting in the fall. What guests love about my land most is the opportunity to watch beautiful sunsets in the evening while they enjoy dinner or a drink. Also, don't worry... we have free WiFi!

Keaton Beach is a relaxing get away with great outdoor activities for the entire family; Boating, Fishing, Kayaking and the area is known for scalloping during the June - August months.. Additionally, you will experience the most beautiful sunsets you will. ever see in your lifetime. Cedar Island Sandpiper is a golf cart friendly community with friendly neighbors. We hope you enjoy your stay on our property as much as we do.

Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay.. We have 50/30 and 15 amp sites available. 2 back it, 1 drive in, 1 pull through site. 2 sites are full hook up, 1 site 50 amp electric and water. 1 site 20 amp electric only. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water. The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach. We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.
