If you are looking for a full farm-to-table experience, Buckingham Farms is 20 minutes from us and is a 85-acre farm with fresh produce grown hydroponically! We are also about 20 minutes from 31 Produce/Cracker Shack Cafe which is a local U-Pick farm that has seasonal fruits/vegetables available, as well as a restaurant, farm animals, and "gem mining"! It’s in the name: definitely a peaceful stay! I stayed here on a halfway stop to the Keys from the north Tampa area. The property is in a rural community outside of Ft. Myers, so very little road noise to be heard. Quiet and spacious. The site is packed gravel and level. It had rained, quite a bit, the morning before I arrived but there was no standing water, good drainage. The road in is a grated limerock dirt road. A few dips but nothing too concerning. Nicole was quick to provide info prior to arrival and offered fresh eggs from her hens. The site has no shade until the setting sun around 4:30pm so be prepared with a canopy if outside before that time. I only needed to use the 30amp connection but the site also had water and sewage connections that appeared well maintained. This is a great stop if headed south to the Keys and you’re looking to break up that long drive!

We found ourselves “homeless” for a night. Aaron’s spot was perfect for our needs. The sight was on his small fruit tree nursery, with a chicken. It was easily accessible, provided electricity, water and was gated. It was close enough to amenities yet was in a rural area. Aaron was very personable and spoke with my husband for quite awhile about his property and his plans. We would stay again.
