If you're lucky enough to experience the wildlife that shows up regularly, you could have the pleasure of seeing wild animals like: turkeys, deer, pigs, armadillos, hawks, dragonflies, butterflies, turtles and many others. We're proud of our oasis and thrilled to share it with folks that appreciate protected land as much as we do. The land is part of the resource corridor, which is protected wetlands and it is environmentally sensitive and ecologically significant. This means that it is an ecosystem that supports the wildlife and cannot be touched or manipulated in any way. Lucy's place is our community space for you and your family's use. It has lots of seating, plenty of places to relax, a grill and outdoor sink for cooking, and a gas fireplace to enjoy the scenery at night. A hot tub awaits you, which is open to the stars and great after a day of lounging or fun out and about. We are close to everything but far enough for you to relax after a fun day of exploring. Daytona Speedway is a 30 min. drive. You can be on the beach in 20 min. or putting your boat/jet skis in the river in 15 min. We live on the property. It is very private but, at the same time, close to everything. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. 1 mi from the highway. 15min to Flagler Beach (top surf place in Florida!). A lot of stuff to do around - fishing, canoeing and swimming( ocean is10-15 minutes drive), natural preserves, parks and historic places. Tennis court, pickle ball courts and a play ground (5min walk). Daytona Beach and historic St.Augustine( 20-30 min drive). A little over an hour to Orlando, Jacksonville or Cape Canaveral. We have a water and electricity hook ups. Spaces for the boats are available also. No sewage disposal. There is a dog on the property. Dogs are ok but have to be cleaned after and be on the leash.Please no loud noise after the dark, no drugs or heavy drinking, no loud parties. No slipping in tents allowed.

While I was in Mark's front yard, I felt like I was a world away at my own farm. This wonderfully flat and clear site faces the horses and the nursery at the front of the property. It's far enough out to feel like you're in the countryside, but close enough to everything to feel like you're in the city. Just 15 minutes from Mt. Dora and 45 from the Lake Apopka Wilderness Drive, a perfect recommendation from Mark, Pennylane Farm is a perfect spot.

Nice concrete pad which is super helpful in FL rainy season. There are no RV parks in NSB with concrete pads so this was a nice option for us while we were in FL to work on our house. Liz and Jay were super helpful and we would stay here again. Thank you for hosting.

The neighborhood is a lush subtropical paradise with the beach, historic sites of interest, and seafood restaurants with laguna views all within walking and biking distance along paved trails. The site is nicely set aside and graded with water and electrical services and a canopy of live oak lot by accent lights. Pretty magical, really.

Mark and his wife we great hosts during my stay. Beautiful secluded property with chickens and horses and close to Mt Dora. Utilities worked great and the property is close to town if you need supplies. I highly recommend and would stay there again.

We loved Sandy’s Swamp. She’s a great host. She met us on time and showed us around. As advertised. Roughing it with perks. Our first morning in the swamp started with 4 hours of thunderstorms. We chilled in the large dry screened porch. Would have been horrible without it. Kayak launch was simple. Will be back when it’s cooler. Maybe a day trip so we can sleep in AC after a long shower.

We loved staying at Jay's. He was very welcoming and went out of his way to help us out. The description is exactly as listed. He has a couple of options for set up locations. His property has the feeling of being remote. However, you are only a few minutes away from grocery and some other stores and restaurants. It is a short drive to the beach or inland water way/Indian River. Jay was available and easy to get in contact with. He helped us with many questions about the area and where to go. We were even able to catch two rocket launches just from the back yard. If you want a quieter Florida experience give Jay's place a visit. Next time we are in the area or passing through, this will be our stay of choice.

The Farmland is beautiful. We loved watching the sunrise over the pastors. The horses and chickens were fun to watch. The Host Mark was a great guy. Fun to talk to and very accommodating. It's a peaceful place to camp. I would recommend this place!
