Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away. Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (32' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. Pets are welcome on leash. accompanied by an adult, Each pet is $5. additional fee. There is an off leash park two blocks away. Most of the beaches are also pet friendly. They have been growing here in Hastings, Florida for over a year as they all migrated here from California. The goal of our research project is to establish whether olives could be a profitable crop for the State of Florida. Our research is headed by Reinaldo Valdes, PHD and with the collaboration of Olive growers from Andalucia, Spain. We have 2 varieties from Greece: Koroneiki and Kalamata, 2 varieties from Italy: Taggianca and Ascolana, and 4 varieties from Spain: Picuale, Manzanilla, Arbozana and Arbequina. We are hoping to have our first harvest in 3 to 5 years, until then, we are importing olive oil, representing some of the best olive oils in the world, and educating the consumers about the great qualities and properties of cooking and enjoying the best, heathiest oil in the world, as well as olives. Olive Land Farms also sell trees for homes and garden. In addition to our Olive grove we are a carbon farm, as our trees grow, they will be absorbing carbon dioxide form the environment. A fully grown olive tree can absorb 4.5 tons of carbon dioxide per year, according to the International Olive Council ( you do the math, especially when we are very close to one of the few coal burning power plants still in operation in our country) We are also a bird sanctuary, you will see a vast variety of birds, it’s an amazing show, we have different bird at all seasons, ducks migrating south for the winter as well as when they are heading back north, quite a sight to see, hawks, cardinals and cranes and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets, come visit with us. Olive Land Farms also sell trees for homes and garden. In addition to our Olive grove we are a carbon farm, as our trees grow, they will be absorbing carbon dioxide form the environment. Brian’s property was a great spot for us! He greeted us and lead us to our spot and then we found out his wife Phyllis bakes muffins and cookies so we bought some muffins for breakfast. They were delicious! We had a problem with our RV not starting on the morning we were supposed to leave and Brian was extremely helpful in giving us assistance with finding a mechanic that could help us. Brian even towed our bus to the repair shop with his tractor! We were very grateful and would definitely recommend this property because of its safe location and the wonderful people who own it. Great Hipcamp experience!

I truly enjoyed my second retreat at Whispering Oaks Lakeside Sanctuary. The landscape is picturesque. It's quiet, tranquil, scenic, and peaceful, making it a perfect escape. Each morning, I was treated to breathtaking sunrises over the pond, which made every day special. I loved watching two young deer arrive daily, gently drinking water and playfully frolicking around the pond, adding a touch of nature’s charm. I also had a wonderful time cooking a meal at the fire pit. Electricity was provided with an extension cord giving me the conveniences that I needed in the van. The availability of running water and a nearby trash receptacle made the stay even more comfortable. Interlachen, a charming small town, offered a few nearby essentials: a small grocery store called Hitchcock's, a Post Office, a General Dollar store, and a CVS. Overall, Whispering Oaks Lakeside Sanctuary is a truly delightful place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat. Erica, the hostess, is delightful and knowledgeable. She can offer a variety of recommendations for things to do or places to dine nearby. I appreciated her hospitality.

Although the place was wonderful with curious geese and a peaceful pond it made up for the lack of people capable of picking up after their dogs...so luckily we had a large mat and spread it out to keep from stepping in piles of month old dried dog poop. Otherwise hook up was a breeze, the sewer could use some weed whacking for easy spotting but never heard a word from the owners dogs which kept their distance upon arrival, Kenny was responsive and let us enjoy 1 out of 2 days alone on the property while he went and camped himself. I should hopefully return as the view was a change of pace.

We stayed recently, for our ten year anniversary and it. Was. Wonderful!! From the thoughtful snacks and food, to the lights and ambiance, the cozy spacious bed and comforter, the Lake and kayaks, the outdoor lights and seating. I have zero complaints and will be staying again! The hosts were considerate and gave us 100% privacy, responded to texts quickly, and were very sweet. Just an overall wonderful and much needed experience! We have two little girls, and I am seriously considering asking if they would be willing to allow our family of four to stay for a trip! The Geodome is spacious enough and our children would love the experience as much as we did! I can’t recommend this enough 100/100, 1000/1000, 1m/1m!😍🙌 You won’t regret booking with them. It will be a memorable experience .
