The Yurt Sanctuary is in Westhampton NY just 3 miles to the pristine beaches of The Hamptons on a private lot with private access to full yard.  Total beach vibe here in the Hamptons -- sought out destination by surfers and fishermen worldwide.  This season we got a five burner propane grill for your grilling delight!  Beach Vibe all the time! Performing Arts Center, Bakery, Farmer's Market, Restaurants and Shops on Main Street just a bike ride away.  Gazebo bandshell host free summer art performances. RELAXED beach vibe! 

There's a Dakota Fire Pit, Compost toilet and hot water outdoor shower, propane gas BBQ Grill.

The Yurt is 20' in diameter (314 sq. ft.), 11 ft. high to the dome, with 1 Queen and  1 Full size sofa beds comfortably sleeping 3.

An Eco-friendly Yurt experience will connect you to Nature and give you the best chance to relax.

 No WiFi, No TV

Spacious and private hot water shower. Sink has cold water only.

Spacious compost toilet just a few feet outside of the Yurt.

20ft Yurt, 11 ft high to the Dome for star gazing. Sleeps four. 1 Queen bed & 1 Full bed 

Mini Fridge | Table seats 4 | Dinnerware, Silverware and glasses in cabinet. Coffee Pot on counter. There’s no kitchen. 

Table for four partially folds for easy storage. The chairs fold and store between the rafters. 

Full size sofa bed.  Linen and pillows in bins under the sofa.  Please pull bins out first before opening the bed.

Mickelberry Forest Gardens

The meadow we occupy was once the farmers property that  I grew up next to at my parents farm house.
 When he wanted to sell his property he offered it to us for purchase at a fair price if we would not develop more than we needed to live here.
 We maintained the meadow adjacent to our property and have kept it as an agricultural site.
 We have had our son develop an edible forest garden and a unique diversified small orchard so we can eat and share healthy organic fruits and vegetables while helping our environment and wildlife and educating others to do the same.
 It is expensive to live in Newtown but we love our property.
 We want to teach others to grow food from their land while helping to support us keeping our adjacent property agricultural and undeveloped.
 Our property has provided many happy gatherings and events and we love to share it with others.

Enjoy your stay next to our edible forest garden on the Edge of a beautiful meadow along side the orchard of berries, nuts  and fruit trees.  Various seasons will offer you an opportunity to pick your own breakfast in our maturing establishment.   You can enjoy exploring, and examining our 7 year permacultuire food forest with chestnut seedlings already tall enough to climb , 10-foot hazels bearing buckets of nuts and a different selection of raspberries, blackberries, gooseberry, currents, golden berries, service berries and Mulberries.      Enjoy a stroll   through the meadow trail to breath in  morning views and evening fireflies and stars.  This camp area is very private but household amenities are not far away if desired.  This site is much more private than Mickelberry Forest Garden Site and the beautiful mountain view is only a small step away.  One mile away we offer  nearby blue mark trails, mountain biking, lake and outdoor activities are at your fingertips and your hosts will be happy to provide any assistance needed to find or enjoy these opportunities.  The Creamery (Ferris Acres) is one of the best farm ice cream shops in the East.  We can provide breakfast upon request from our free range chickens on our kiwi lined deck with beautiful mountain views.     Come and enjoy the croak of the bullfrog and the sound of the crickets.  We are new and growing our amenities so at this time check the overview for available amenities but you can guarantee we won't disappoint.  Come visit Mickelberry Forest Garden and The Meadow's Edge our newest most private site!!!

Destination Farnch

The Farnch: A developing Destination Farm   Come have a picnic under a tree, spend a few hours and go for a hike in Hudson Highland Gateway Park, a Historic 352-acre park offering hiking, birding, cross-country skiing, fishing & snowshoeing. He have rods and tackle to rent or buy if you don’t have your own. If you’re having a really great time and the kids just don’t want to leave, join us for an evening of sleeping under the stars in the forest at one of our campsites. We also host local Scout Groups, and Appellation Trail hikers. Hikers know that we are located about 2 miles south of the route 9 trail crossing at the Appalachian Market and offer pick up and drop off service from there on weekends. Hudson Valley is a wonderful 4 season go to location and being about an hour away from New York City you won’t spend hours in the car before being able to stretch your legs.

Site 1 (Zen Paradise) is a fully fenced-in campsite and no visibility from the house. Fence gates lead to a creek and a forested area. Site 2 (Best Kept Secret) is located in the forested area is completely secluded.

Pitch your tent and pick our apples by the pond on Westchester’s oldest working farm. You’ll enjoy complete privacy and quiet. 

The Hawkey family has worked Sundial Farm for nearly half a century, from indoor plants to perennials to dressage school, to organic veggies, selling antiques, hosting a local CSA and farm stand, and most recently native plant landscaping with PlanIt Wild.

Sundial Farm can also be seen in many Hollywood productions, such as Blackkklansmen, The Hunters, and American Gangster.

*You may come across reviews talking about the farm stand and animals. Sadly those are no longer here, so stock up on goodies before you arrive. 

Cypress Grove

Cypress Grove is a 6 acre residential property located in Southbury, Connecticut. Our secluded camping field ensures privacy for our guests away from our dwelling.  There is a community fire pit for all campers to share and guests are welcome you to bring their own contained pit. Owners are 420 friendly!
