The property is very spread out and there is an outhouse for all sites to us. Your pets are welcome too! Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails and lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity! Other attractions include local farmers markets, Gilette's Castle, and the famous River Ferry crossing the Connecticut River with a vehicle across to East Haddam. We offer an hot H2O outdoor shower here for the comfort of out clients here. It is located on the back of main house in corner. See map in photos. We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons. It can be pre-purchased for $12 per bundle on this site, or $10.00 cash here at farm. Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $4.00 per 1/2 dozen. There are blankets and pillows are provided, but not linens for cabin or trailer sites. Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

Menlo Pond

Menlo Pond is our 10 acre property where we live in the old 1885 farmhouse. There is also a large old cow barn on the property and a 2 acre pond. The HipCamp spot is down in the back of the property near the pond. There is a small beach with a dock and also a floating swim-to dock out in the middle of the pond. We share our flat bottom boat, canoe, standup paddle board and our kayaks. You can have a campfire in our firepit and use our outdoor grill. There is electrical hookup and possibly water(you provide the long hose). There is a seasonal outdoor shower and sometimes we have a rented Porta-potty.
