The first time I saw this beautiful heavily wooded 12-acre property, I immediately put in an offer. That was 18 years ago. I spent the next 11 years chasing corporate goals which I finally realized were inconsistent with my soul. I started a family and decided to sell this property. I brought my then 2 year old daughter here so she could see it once before I sold it. As we drove up highway 285 through vistas each more stunning than the last, I was moved to tears by the beauty. By the time we reached the property, I knew that we would be moving back here. Nearly 3 years later, we finally moved back with 3 dogs and 2 cats in tow. We love it here and truly belong in this place we call home. Treehouse Magic sits on an 80-acre horse ranch 6476 feet above Sealevel (+ 20 feet for the treehouse!!) Built by hand, with love, and a little help from our friends over a 4-year period. Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine. This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Cabana room in the "pop-up" tent and cots! We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature! Every detail was thought of. A MUST-TRY EXPERIENCE! *Absolutely NO candles or open fires, please!! There is a propane firepit. Maximum of 2 dogs. $40 per dog. Additional rules apply for dog guests and must be cleared with the host prior. Please pick up after your dogs, there are poo-poo bags provided in Treehouse. Please do not leave the dogs unattended EVER in the treehouse, on the deck. Please use dog kennel if needed. At checkout please leave all used linens and towels as well as and lanterns that need charging and the urinals for cleaning at the bottom of the stairs. Running water will be turned off from Nov-April (except for warm days and we can turn on for a short time). We will be sure you have plenty of potable water for drinking and using.

This Magical Treehouse and land were everything my family needed and more!! We could not have asked for a more pleasant and peaceful retreat! Marni gave us a rundown of the facilities, and we couldn't have imagined a better stay. From the whimsical hand-crafted beauty of the actual treehouse around "Pal", to the amenities (including games/fun, cooking utilities/supplies, Wi-Fi/TV accommodations and plenty of warmth and cozy blankets and pillows, even full working bathroom facilities), down to the quiet starlit nights including a fire pit on the patio to keep warm while star-gazing! My son especially loved visiting and interacting with the extremely affectionate and friendly free roaming animals we got to interact with and became especially fond of, even giving our own little names to each, as they greeted us kindly several times each day. Only complaint was that we couldn't afford a longer stay!.. as each of us were sad to leave and say goodbye to the relaxing and intimate natured feel of the place, and our very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We felt secure even in the peaceful darkness around us knowing the host's dogs were looking out for us into the night. We will definitely be returning next season for a longer stay if welcomed, as Marni/Frank were on call for any questions or needs, we had throughout the stay, and were exceptionally kind to us as well. Thank you for such a pleasant experience to get us "away from it all" and the delight of bringing nature closer! XOX

What a fun night! I took my 4 year old for an over nighter and it was perfect. I didn’t have to pack much since so much was provided and ready. We had a nice dinner, played in the woods, enjoyed a fire then had a great nights sleep in the treehouse. Thank you Deborah!

Weekend Trip to Mountain-Life Camping @ Pike's Peak

We stayed here for our anniversary and were so impressed. It's a spacious treehouse with a loft-style bedroom up a ladder and a beautiful wrap around outside area on the lower level perfect for viewing stars or just spending time outside. Drinking water and coffee are provided which was a nice touch. We were plenty warm even though it rained most of the night (falling asleep to that was amazing). We were warm all night and the bed was huge. Truly a gem tucked away about 45 minutes from Colorado Springs!

We loved staying in the treehouse. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful and tended to our every need and question in a very timely manner. The place was beautiful and was close to so many activities in the area. They even provided utensils and plates and toothbrushes, which was an amazing surprise. They only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. It was so much fun.

We had a cozy weekend playing ping pong and darts! Loved the beautiful animals wandering around and the fenced in area for the kids and dogs. Tons of creature comforts while still felt like we were glamping in a treehouse. The kids loved playing games under the glow of a lantern at night. We will be back!

Tree house magic (Pal) was full of life in so many ways! We went during the winter in December and it was amazing with different sources of heat thought the house! The tree house was perfectly warm and cozy. Truly a place you can make yourself at home. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. If you have dogs this place is great, as we brought 2 dogs, dachshund and pit bull. Plenty of space and entertainment with great views. I cannot speak any more highly about this place, as I wish we could have stayed longer than 4 nights. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10 gnomes!

This place was absolutely amazing. Whether you enjoy being inside or out this is a place for you. If you go in the winter like I did, there are propane heaters or fire pits no matter the area you want be in. The stars also where simply amazing. Great stay would definitely recommend.
