Relax on the couch or outside in your private sitting area that looks into the national forest. Electricity, wi-fi, and heat included. The tiny house can sleep 4, although may be better suited to 2 if you don't want to be rubbing elbows. The Property: The tiny house is parked nearby the main house on the property where we live. We are at the dead end of the road, and the property abuts National Forest with trails for miles and incredible views of nearby peaks. We have three dogs who you may hear occasionally, but who live in their own fenced yard attached to the main house. Though we live on the property, the tiny house is your own private space and we'll respect your privacy during your stay. Neighboring houses are visible from the property in one direction. The other direction all that can be seen is trees, mountains and sky. There is space to pitch a tent next to the tiny house for additional hipcampers. Please note, we sit at about 8600' elevation which means in the summer you can enjoy a good 10-15 degree temperature drop from the flatlands. Ahhh. In the winter, it will also typically be colder and snowier. Be prepared for the altitude and be sure to hydrate (and consider drinking less alcohol than you normally tolerate) so you can remain healthy and enjoy your stay.

Cots and a hammock are available for use in the Greenhouse, but you will have to bring your own sleeping mats, sleeping bags and pillows. Sleeping mats and sleeping bags on the floor are also an option if you choose. Picnic tables are close to the Greenhouse for enjoying time outdoors. The Glamping in the Aspens Tent has a wood burning stove in it that will be available starting later season 2024. Firewood for the wood stove will be provided for you. Just outside the tent is a picnic table with BBQ grill and propane fire pit. There is a porch area with outdoor kitchen and a queen sized bed inside the tent. A comfy dog bed is also included. A composting toilet is available for use. No showers currently available (Bath House coming soon). Well behaved dogs are allowed, however, they must be on a leash or under voice command. There are 2 dogs that live on the property as well as chickens, turkeys, and a cat. All will be contained so as not to disturb (except for the occasional rooster crow). This property was AMAZING! I stayed 2 nights by myself and I’m so grateful I found this site. The little bear cabin was perfect. Signage was clear leading up to the site. The road is dirt leading up to it and then gravel. The view from the cabin is great. Through the trees you can see the mountains, walk up the hill a tiny bit and amazing clear views. The grill worked well and there was firewood at the wood stove. The inside was clean and it was great to have the fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The cabinets had paper plates, plastic cups and some plastic utensils. The cabin keeps out the cold fairly well but it was a bonus to have the heater. The bed was comfortable and there was a cot below you could put together if you had another person that needed a spot. The porta potty was clean as was the site in general. You can see the other cabin from this one but it’s not too close. I highly suggest booking this cabin!

Beautiful view! We had a great stay. All images and posted amenities are accurate. The space is well insulated and kept heat well. We used the wood stove for heat before bed to ensure the temperature stayed up over the course of the night. We stayed in September and there are aspens on the property with a beautiful Mountain View. With a clear day you can see multiple mountains and some had snow on top!

I had such a wonderful stay here! The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful — the perfect place to relax and recharge. My dog loved being able to run around and enjoy the open farmland which made the trip even better. The site itself was perfect with water, electric, and everything I needed. The host was extremely friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again!

The accommodations were over the top, and we had the greatest time! Annette and Patrick are super friendly and they have thought of everything! All cookware, utensils, seasonings, sink, water, propane heater, fire pit, and grill, chairs, extra blankets, dog bed and bowls, queen size air mattress, and bedding are there for you. It got down to 33° at night and we were very comfortable in the tent with the propane heater they provide. We did bring additional sleeping bags to add to the air mattress and sheets they provided and it even got a little too warm for us which was great. Also, solar power for charging electronics and they provide lighting in the tent. The view is amazing and it’s so quiet which is what I wanted. No road noises, just nature. The spot is large and you have complete privacy. You really need an off-road vehicle to get up to the site, and be sure to air-down a bit. The road to the Campground is pretty bumpy and then you have a steep incline to their property. I have a Jeep Wrangler and it’s a fun ride up if you prepare for it. Overall this was a great time and I have every intention of returning! Thanks Annette and Patrick!

What a cool, serene, GORGEOUS spot. Close enough to Denver to have a night out in the mountains. WiFi, too, so working here is totally doable and you’d have the best view. The hosts have really stocked the place well and the outside and inside fires were perfect on a chilly night. Did I mean the vast night sky full of stars???

Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.) Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind). We've got the world's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, wading pool, gas grill, a table and a lovely porta-jon. We offer a 13 foot canvas tent complete with a queen sized bed, electric fans, chairs, and a wood burning stove. We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out. We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter). We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. I just built a new filter!! It’s a saving grace in the summertime. We have a community gas grill - please donate to the propane fund. Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR and WATCH OUT FOR THE ROOSTER! The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG. Nestled in the beautiful rocky mountains is historic Ferncliff, Colorado. Come experience wellness in the wild and your home away from home with our open back area perfect for the overnight dry-camp or small camper parking. Ferncliff sits just 20 minutes away from the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, known for their rustic mountain charm and incredible hiking/sightseeing. Our property has a couple other cabins within the 2 acres, and the van/camping spot is located in the back of the property. We currently offer only a plot of land/space for the night, we don't have access to running water and have added a Porta potty as well.

We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raise alpaca’s, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house and this cottage is now available to rent. Water is available outside and the outhouse is just a few steps away. It comes equipped with a woodturning stove you can use to cook on. We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. Across the gulley is the new Sawmill Cabin built under the canopy of Jim's sawmill. It is small, and can sleep 3 with a unique bunk over a queen sized platform bed. A small deck, fire pit all under a covered open space. More kids? Bring a tent! there’s room! Numerous tent sites are available all within easy walking to your car. An outhouse is close by. We love sharing our story and our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp; and relax. Watch and listen to the birds, deer and antelope really do play here two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully just this morning. We are blessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night and an added bonus is our Farm Store where we showcase products made from our alpaca's, and trees my husband has cut down... !
