The campsite is a large flat area. For a trailer or RV it's a great place to park and the view is towards wide open spaces. With a tent or if you want more pure nature, you can drive out onto the property further towards the small ruin of the old homesteader's cabin or beyond. The property has a long-abandoned gold mine and circular arrastres where miners used mules to break up rocks. Nearby Acton has pick-your-own apples/pears/peaches at Bloom farms. We are at 3000 feet with strong sun during the day and cool mountains air at night. The camping is set away from structures, but if you want to stroll, closer to the ranch buildings, we have friendly small goats you can visit if interested and horses and a donkey to say hello to across the corral fence.

Because of its location in a 3,200 foot elevation, it's colder than the Southern California deserts and warmer than the cold mountains above us. Our temperatures rarely exceed 90F and rarely drop below 40F. We have plenty sun and about two to three days of snow every winter. A year-around creek keeps everything green and fresh around the year. We are the second owners since 1913, and operate a small organic orchard on the property. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees. Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events. Great location next to Rim of the World scenic drive to Big Bear Lake. Steep drive to get to camp not too far off the highway. We did fine with our 28ft trailer pulled by a passenger van. Appreciated being able to add on produce/honey from the farm. Would stay again!

We’re a group of RV campers - 5 rigs and 1 tent, totaling 13 people and we fit comfortably with room to spare. The camp site is private, clean, and incredibly relaxing. There are plenty of shaded areas to chill during the day, and a beautifully lit dinner space. The Ranch is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Every detail feels thoughtfully maintained, making it one of the most enjoyable camping experiences we’ve had. It’s clear this place was designed with comfort and community in mind. And then there’s Steven. He’s a great camp host. Very responsive, kind, and incredibly accommodating. Steven goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and cared for. We’re already planning our next visit. This place is a keeper!

The hosts, Taryn and Anson, were incredibly kind and accommodating every step of the way — from the planning phase all the way through the event itself.
