5 acres of mountain desert property with great unobstructed views of the mountains and surrounding cities of the high desert, with beautiful views property may be subject to high wind at times. So please check weather and dress accordingly. property is very peaceful and on its own hill. ovh and hiking trails all around. RV, Van, truck, trailer and tent camping welcomed. An outside mutual restroom for campers on site with hot and cold water shower. Property also has lodging on site. small cowboy bunker available for rent which has full kitchenette and is ran off of generator for power. Gas not included but a fuel can is provided. Second lodging rental is not listed here, but available on hip camp at (heavenly hideout Quail Ranch).

The Unhitched Ranch

The Unhitched Ranch is a family run Clydesdale and Texas Longhorn Ranch. Clydesdales and Texas Longhorns have been the focus of the family owned and operated ranch. The Ranch is approximately 40 acres and is tucked away in a very unique area of Southern California and has spectacular views of the local mountains and city lights. This quaint little canyon is nestled between Loma Linda and Moreno Valley, and is home to about 800 free roaming wild burros that visit frequently.Recently we have added a Gazebo that you can camp near or under as well a a horseshoe pit, and tether ball.  We typically only open the ranch to one group of campers at a time so more than likely you will be alone with us on the ranch.  There is plenty of room for larger groups, feel free to contact us

Nick was nice enough to take us up the mountain to show us the most spectacular views. There are gorgeous hiking trails on the mountainside perfect for enjoying a sunset hike.

The wild burrows were incredible and friendly, we got quite a few sightings of them Our favorites were the adorable tiny babies!

Creekside Vintage Cabins w/hot tubs

Two Cabins to choose from, each with its own vintage charm.  Both on the same dirt road across the street from each other, separate properties, both with their own private hot tubs, kitchen, claw foot tub in bathroom, heating.  Rent separate or rent both and bring your friends!

Here are the special additions at each cabin: 
Creekside Cabin: 468 sq. ft, a beautiful deck backing up to the national forest, with propane fire pit, and charcoal bbq, overlooking fresh water creek, outdoor shower, large fireplace, open floor plan, living room with cozy queen bed, open to upstairs loft 2 full beds, and a twin bed.  This cabin has the option to add the vintage trailer in the driveway June - October only as an additional space. Does not have electricity, bathroom or heating for $75 per day. Trailer not available other times of the year due to cold night temps. 
 
Vintage 1937 Cabin: larger indoor space 1304 sq. ft. , a rock front patio, Wood stove in living room, open to upstairs loft 2 full beds, private large bedroom with another wood stove w/ queen bed and twin fold out couch, laundry room, enclosed patio with gas bbq. 

Requires 4 wheel drive and chains or two wheel drive and chains during winter storm snow days due to remote location. 

Big falls waterfall is just a short hike away, as well as the trailhead for Vivian creek Trail.   Come spend time nestled in the Coulter Pines, oaks, and maple trees.

Your neighbors are raccoons, and bears, property is situated on the edge of the San Bernardino National Forest at the top of the mountain.

You truly feel like you're in the high Sierras just 1.5 hours from Los Angeles. Big Bear Lake is a 45 minute drive away.

In town you will find Elkhorn General Store and El Mexicano Mexican Restaurant, both close early:).

Rock & Tree

It's so nice to "meet you" my name is Taryn and my hubby's name is Anson. We are parents to two-year-old twins, so saying we have our hands full is an understatement. Anson is a folk and blues musician and has traveled
all around the U.S. playing his music and I work for a children's book company. One day, we decided that we wanted to live the rest of our lives hosting live music, and events and that's how Rock & Tree began. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees.

Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature.   We are now open for daily camping and private events. 'The Little House'

Our home is located in historic 'Trabuco Canyon' in Orange County, CA.  Our cabin 'number 63' was built in 1928 and all the cabins here in the cabin were sold as hunting cabins or used for vacationing.   Live Oak Canyon Road, and Silverado Canyon Road are some of the nicest driving areas in Southern California.  Learn more about this land:Welcome to Cabin 63... or, we like to call her, ‘The Little Red House’. Our little prefab studio is located in a quiet, safe, tucked away rural neighborhood... at the foot of beautiful Saddleback Mountain. Chickens and cats free range among the oak trees and you will often hear the sounds of horses meandering down the road.Our canyon has a real country feel to it and yet you are only minutes away from the city.  We are situated in a hub of hiking and biking trails and,  if desired, we are only 30 minutes from the beach.  In the evening you can often hear the bleating of sheep on the nearby hills and coyotes yipping in the night.
