Welcome to our property! As a family we have worked hard to create this lovely home and property for you to enjoy. We are so happy to share the beauty and peacefulness of this land. We also host private dinner parties and special events by request. Please come experience our peaceful and lovely home.Learn more about this land:"A truly unique stay". It is attached to a 100 year old barn with doors that open up to a deck with a peaceful and lovely view. We didn't put a tv in this room for the purpose of hoping you find some peace & serenity. There is parking in the front of the barn and you have access to walking around the 10 acres of land. We have lovely animals to meet, winiers around the corner and lovely evening stars and views. We are 30 minutes from the beaches and San Luis Obispo. @harmonyoverthehillThis space will allow you to relax and enjoy some time alone. When your sitting in the comfy chairs and you open the back doors to the deck, and you feel the way the breeze comes in, it is just surreal. It's a studio like feeling with all new upgrades. You won't be disappointed. We do allow dogs they must be potty trained as these are old hardwood floors. They also will need to stay on leash with you. $50 pet fee in extras. You will access on the back porch, with a well lit area and parking is in front of barn. We do have another rental house on the property. As you may walk around and see the animals, this space you are renting is the studio and the deck.

Coastal cabins near Oceano guide

Overview

Just south of Arroyo Grande and Grover Beach, Oceano is a tiny community and the gateway to the Oceano Dunes. For a community of its size (measuring only around 1.5 square miles), Oceano offers a remarkably large number of cultural attractions, including the Great American Melodrama Theatre and the Oceano Train Depot museum. For thrill-seekers, Oceano’s biggest draw is the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area, a popular spot for ATV adventures.

Where to go

Santa Barbara County

Head south from Oceano and you'll quickly reach Santa Barbara County, known for its Spanish-style mission architecture and tasty, locally produced wine. Highlights include the upscale coastal city of Santa Barbara and the Danish-inspired community of Solvang.

Coastal Ventura County

In the same way that Oceano is known for its dunes, Ventura County is known for its beach camping. Both Rincon Parkway Beach and Emma Wood State Beach offer RV camping, while Faria Beach Park and Hobson Beach Park have spaces for both tents and RVs.

San Luis Obispo County

While there’s lots to do in the counties south of Oceano, there’s also plenty right in San Luis Obispo County. Drive up the coast to take in seaside views and visit beaches, or head up to the Paso Robles area to check out local wineries or soak in thermal hot springs.

When to go

Oceano is very much a summertime destination, so expect crowds during the months of June through August. September after Labor Day weekend is a great alternative, offering the hottest temperatures of the year without the summer vacation crowds. Spring is also pleasant, but can get windy. The months of December through April are great for whale watchers, as this is the season during which gray whales head out on their annual migration.
