Boat dock space is included. History: Forbes Thor Kiddoo came to San Francisco in 1959 after a stint in the Coast Guard. Then, inspired by Jules Verne’s Captain Nemo and the movie version of “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea”, Forbes Kiddoo built himself an underwater home, complete with portholes for watching the fish swim past, a diving hatch and a grand bedroom suite fit for a captain of his private world. We love sharing our bounty. :) The space An actual hidden cottage tucked into a space full of vegetable and flower gardens. A six-chicken coop also runs the length of one side of the yard. There's also a private patio area to relax and unwind. The cottage is cute and simple, with an attic-like staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom. Enjoy your privacy in this unique and quaint space. P.S. This space may not be the best suited for elderly, disabled, or very young guests. Guest access The entire cottage is all yours, with a private entryway. We have an open patio area just outside the cottage with outdoor seating and tables. There is also a charcoal barbecue available upon request, as the hosts may be using it. It is a great spot to sit and unwind while watching and listening to the chickens, watching the sun set, and gazing. The garden area is shared with the hosts. Other things to note You, as our guest, always have privacy in the indoors of your space. The outside areas are mostly shared between my family, pets, and our guests, but the outdoor patio is all yours(we only access this when guests are present if we need to do some yard work). Enjoy yourselves, and be wary of doggies when pulling in the driveway! It is an in-laws quarters type house and shares one wall with the main house of the property. The door that connects the homes is completely sealed off and inaccessible to both parties. Please keep in mind that this is not a space suitable for very young, disabled, or elderly guests, due to the attic-like staircase mentioned above.

Our time there was very private and safe. We had to leave our RV for a few days to look for property to purchase and everything was left the same when we came back. Our RV was left a few times in a trusting environment behind an electric gate. At arrival, you are given a remote to this gate to come and go as you please. Our spot was secluded and very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this rv park to a friend. I had several dogs with me and they were very happy as well. It’s a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of room for your furry loved ones.

Weekend Trip to Redwood Meadows

Lovely wooded spot in close proximity to lots of hiking trails, a year round creek for exploring, wine tasting, and Saratoga Village. Good spot for camping light. Hwy 9 curves around the camping portion of the property so expect vehicle noise. It didn't prevent us from enjoying the place and at night there is hardly any traffic so sleeping was fine. There is a hose near the camp area that makes for good hand washing and outdoor showers. Shannon was truly the best host ever and really enhanced our stay with her generosity. Very thankful for her.

We loved staying on Jamie's land! It was a wonderful get away that started with a cool ferry ride. He truly thought of everything with access to an out side grill, wood for buring, pots pans/ bowls and plates even extra toothpaste and tooth brushes which was needed b/c we forgot ours. So thanks Jamie! The lights at night were both practical and beautiful. It made the night feel like a "fairy land" as my daughter put it. It made it easy to locate the RV in the dark and trees / tables without needing a light. It was awesome! Thank you! We can't wait to plan another trip here!

Weekend Trip to Delta‘s best

Great private campsite, Jamie is awesome and responds very quick and is very accommodating to special requests. Took a boy scout troop there and had a great time canoeing, fishing, and even swimming. The RV is a nice extra, and is clean. Falling asleep to the sound of crickets and frogs was an added bonus. Well worth the effort to get there. This campsite was perfect for our troop adventure!
