Nestled on your own fenced in 8,000 sq. ft. spacious lot with a private, gated entrance sits the Comfy+Cozy Camper. Tucked off the road, you’ll enter through a charming white ranch fence. Enjoy the privacy of keeping your area secluded. If you’re a young family, couples or solo you’ll enjoy this space; picnic table, outdoor grill, cornhole game and a wood burning fire pit; perfect for roasting s’mores or enjoying a drink. Children have space to run & play; using their imagination, climbing trees, playing with provided walkie talkies & and family friendly games — all in the freedom of your 8,000+ sq. ft. space! Inside, you won’t believe you’re in a camper. Renovated in 2019 this Comfy+Cozy Camper is exactly that. The sleeping areas have blackout blinds as well as the kitchen window. Cozy up in the queen bed on a 3” mattress topper next to double sconces; perfect for a night read, or cuddle up and watch some TV. The bunkroom has its own door for privacy, separate sitting area with table, sleeps 3 with a 200lb max weight limit for both top bunks. Inside the bunkroom I've provided fun coloring books with colored pencils, books and walki talkies. If you need a pack-n-play, please let me know! This space is perfect size for kids 10 and under, though adults have squeezed in! Nearby the Camper sits our chicken coop, each stay you’ll be provided a fresh eggs & you’re welcome to grab more from the coop and say hi! Also, feel free to pick yummy oranges & avocados during season! We’re close to Bonsall shopping center which has some of our favorite restaurants; Z cafe, Fresco Grill, Peking Wok, Tekila Cocina & Village Pizza. If you head into town there is amazing BBQ and Mexican restaurants! Close to fun trails; Los Jilgueros, Santa Margarita & Monserate Mountain. Or kickback at the local movie theater. All of my recommendations for food+drinks+things to do have been put together in the Comfy+Cozy Welcome Book, which I will send to you upon arrival and a hard copy is placed in property.

Until recently, it was impossible to obtain any internet access at all. Thanks to Starlink, we now have fast satellite internet on site. Please note that it is normal for the system to drop out for periods of 30 seconds up to 2 minutes at a time since this is early stage technology. STRONG WINDS The winds in the desert are very strong between February and June which may limit your enjoyment of the outdoor amenities. We do all we can to navigate around the winds but cannot control the impact it may have on your stay. POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). We inform our guests of outages as soon as we are made aware but cannot control the time or manner in which this may impact your stay. REFUNDS Should any inconveniences such as those listed above or anything else beyond our control affect your stay, we will not provide refunds. Please understand certain things simply come with the windy, rural, desert location. Thank for understanding! PETS There is a one time, non-refundable pet fee of $80 per pet and no more than 2 dogs are allowed. Inside, you won’t believe you’re in a camper. Renovated in 2019 this Comfy+Cozy Camper is exactly that. The sleeping areas have blackout blinds as well as the kitchen window. The bunkroom has its own door for privacy, separate sitting area with table, sleeps 3 with a 200lb max weight limit for both top bunks. This space is perfect size for kids 10 and under, though adults have squeezed in! Nearby the Camper sits our chicken coop, each stay you’ll be provided a fresh eggs & you’re welcome to grab more from the coop and say hi! We’re close to Bonsall shopping center which has some of our favorite restaurants; Z cafe, Fresco Grill, Peking Wok, Tekila Cocina & Village Pizza. If you head into town there is amazing BBQ and Mexican restaurants! Close to fun trails; Los Jilgueros, Santa Margarita & Monserate Mountain. Or kickback at the local movie theater. POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). We inform our guests of outages as soon as we are made aware but cannot control the time or manner in which this may impact your stay. Please note that it is normal for the system to drop out for periods of 30 seconds up to 2 minutes at a time since this is early stage technology. STRONG WINDS The winds in the desert are very strong between February and June which may limit your enjoyment of the outdoor amenities. We do all we can to navigate around the winds but cannot control the impact it may have on your stay. POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). We inform our guests of outages as soon as we are made aware but cannot control the time or manner in which this may impact your stay. REFUNDS Should any inconveniences such as those listed above or anything else beyond our control affect your stay, we will not provide refunds. Please understand certain things simply come with the windy, rural, desert location. Thank for understanding! PETS There is a one time, non-refundable pet fee of $80 per pet and no more than 2 dogs are allowed. We kindly request that any pets accompanying your reservation be specified under the "Extras" section. Failure to include this information will result in the pet fee being deducted from your deposit. REQUIREMENTS Upon booking, you will receive a link with a request to sign and agree to our house rules, verify your identity, pay our refundable security deposit, and schedule a phone call with our manager. I stayed at Bluebird Tiny House during a hot weekend in July. Everything about my experience was enjoyable. I would consider Bluebird Tiny House glamorous glamping. The converted horse trailer had so many well thought out details & touches inside and out. It has a full kitchen, everything needed to cook and grill. It has a working toilet, tub, shower and well water, which was very tasty. It was a hot weekend, but the AC was running when we arrived in mid afternoon. We never needed the heater, and we left the windows open all night. I was amazed at how quiet it was. This location is so quiet and secluded, you’d never know anyone was around. The nearby hikes had amazing views. Bluebird Tiny House has a gas fire pit and an impressive hot tub, perfect for star gazing. The whole experience was so relaxing, and well worth paying a little extra for comfort. We hope to go back in the next year!

A great place to go if you want to get away without totally unplugging. Jami was very thoughtful in making sure that everything was provided. I came with 8 people, and there was enough room to comfortably fit everyone without too much running into each other. The beds were great, and extra blankets were provided just in case. There was also a washer and dryer, which I wasn't expecting. There's only one bathroom, so there was a little maneuvering with that. The Wi-Fi worked great, even with all of us connected. There is a heater but no AC, although the ceiling fans, along with opening the windows, really helped with the heat. Not to mention, it was cooler outside. The only problem was the bugs, like mosquitoes, since we were here in the summer. There's a stream about a 2-minute walk from the cabin, and I'm pretty sure I could hear it even from inside. There's also a bigger waterfall that was about a 20-minute walk/hike. The area was absolutely beautiful—trees everywhere. You could see squirrels running around, birds in the morning, and at night it was so peaceful and quiet.

We only stayed one night at Melissa’s hilltop bungalow but it truly felt like a full getaway. The location is peaceful and just tucked away enough to feel like an escape, with a glimpse of the lake from the porch and a park nearby where you can launch the kayaks she provides. The bungalow was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We travel with our yellow lab and loved how dog friendly it was. We cooked, watched movies, and ended the night soaking in the hot tub under the stars. As a couple who usually camps, this was such a treat. The perfect mix of nature and comfort. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to come back for a longer stay.

We had such a nice time at the Bluebird Tiny House at Birdsong Backcountry Retreat. The property was very private and quiet and had lots of space for our dogs to roam the fenced yard. The converted horse trailer was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed to disconnect from our busy lives and just relax. The outdoor space was very peaceful with lots of comfortable areas to sit and read and a hot tub and gas firepit to keep us warm in the evenings. We look forward to visiting again!

The cabin was lovely and the surroundings breathtaking. Loved the hottub, the creek and the squirrels. We played games, took walks, watched movies (there is an extensive collection of dvd's and a dvd player) and read books. Jami was amazing, very responsive and ready to answer any questions we had. This is a quirky and very sweet cabin, which does mean that sometimes you need to improvise and not be bothered by small inconveniences, such as blunt knives. We were not, it added to its charm.

This quaint and cozy home is the perfect get away. The cabin is well equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing get away. The hosts were wonderful and I appreciate that they allowed our canine family members and even provided bowls for the pups. The jacuzzi was the perfect place to relax while the dogs frolicked in the backyard area.
