Great location! My stay at the Foxes Farm was exactly what I was looking for. It was calm and quiet and allowed me a chance to relax and recharge. Kat and Steve were wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming and super friendly. I highly recommend getting the apple turnovers! They were amazing and reason enough to stay here again.

What I loved about the Farm View site was an electric hook up and the use of a clean bathroom and shower.
Please note this is a farming community with chickens (roosters) and dogs in the neighborhood. That is the noise that is around. There are other people on the property at other sites. Kat is super accommodating and nice. I have stayed here twice and hope to be back.

We had such a great stay at Kat’s! It was very comfortable with all the hook-ups for our trailer. Our sweet dogs were so happy to have the freedom to be off-leash during our stay. Definitely recommend!

The staff were very helpful and polite. I only wish they would mention on their website they no longer provide fire rings. You will have to bring your own if you want to have a fire. The pool was clean and everyone seemed happy to be there. Note to self. We will make sure to place our RV the farthest point possible away from the road. We could hear cars whizzing by at night.

Kat and Steve are amazing hosts! We had a tire sidewall blow out a few miles from their farm. I called Kat to let her know that we'd be arriving late. She offered to help and within a few minutes, she and Steve arrived with their truck, tire repair materials, and an air compressor. If I had let him, Steve would have found a way to get the tire to hold air. But, since I had free towing, the offered to take our trailer, my wife, and our dog the rest of the way to the farm while I waited for a tow.
We really enjoyed our stay at their farm. It was peaceful and the camp sites were large with vegetation between them. There were two other campers there. They were friendly, though we barely saw/heard them. And, the hot shower was greatly appreciated after the tire ordeal.
Steve is an amazing baker and Kat and Steve were so welcoming and thoughtful. As if rescuing us wasn't enough, they invited us and the other campers over in the evening to chat and eat freshly baked apple pie.
We look forward to staying there again when traveling in Northern California.

First and foremost, Kat & Steve are amazing people and hosts! We came as a large group of 15 (6 adults and 9 kids) and stayed in tents. The facilities were excellent — clean, well-kept, and convenient. Having access to both power and water made the stay especially comfortable and easy to manage with kids.
The property has a warm and welcoming vibe that made everyone feel at home right away. The kids had plenty of space to run around and explore, while the adults could relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. Kat & Steve were thoughtful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

Quiet and peaceful stay. We got end a little later on Friday night but no worries they helped us get our camper in and hooked up. Saturday am our apple turnovers were delivers! YUMMY! We spent the day thrifting. Saturday night we had a fire and relaxed. Sunday we had a lovely breakfast ordered on the patio. The waffles were delicious and high protein! Sunday we went to the Folsom Flea Market and left with some goodies. Sunday night we grilled ribeyes and sat by the fire. At our site we could hear the farm animals at the next property- which we enjoyed. They were not too loud or annoying; just a nice reminder of being in the country. Wilton has an adorable antique shop- be sure to stop in. If you’re a thrifter- there were lots of shops in a 15-20 mile radius. We will be back! Thank you both for a lovely weekend.

I wanted to take my four-year-old camping for Labor Day weekend. I booked two weeks before, and we pulled up to meet the Foxes. Gems of humans and like becoming their 30th grandkid. Firewood ignited immediately so even the most novice fire builder will be successful. My daughter was adopted by kids in the next site over, and it felt like a cousins weekend. But the other sites felt more cut off from all that, if that’s not what you’re looking for. Recommend the Barbara Morse Wackford Community & Aquatic Complex in Elk Grove for a hot summer day trip.
The Cattail Island spot is just that with dragonflies buzzing overhead at dusk and a few frogs singing you to sleep in a site with pretty good privacy considering it’s in someone’s backyard.
Full bathroom with ADA shower and laundry, so that would be great for people in the middle of a longer road trip.
Long story short, I got to camp with my daughter by ourselves, but it felt like we were immediately part of a bigger family for the weekend. We will absolutely keep this spot on our radar for other holiday weekends. Hope to see you again, Foxes!

We were backed right to the slough with our own boat dock if needed. Water front within 25'. Definitely a cool getaway, within 60 miles of Sacramento. This place is totally pet friendly with numerous poop stations and a fenced in dog park. During our stay, they had done tacos, breakfast burritos, and a movie night. During the day on Saturday they had a jet ski show as well!
Campsite are side by side with full amenities water, sewer, and electric. Some spots have better shade, however we will know what we're looking for at the next opportunity to come out!
