I work out of town occasionaly and dont like to waste money on motel rooms. Itd great there are places like this where someone can just pitch a tent, and enjoy the quietness of the outdoors. The campsites themselves were great. A small open area surrounded by trees. There were chairs provided around campfire pits. A portapotty was provided, which is a great benefit you dont get while rustic camping. The price was unbeatable! I will definately be back to spend some more time with the awesome hosts, and the adorable animals!

The Lazy Horse Ranch is easy to get to off of the main road. I had a great night at Lazy Horse Ranch. It was quite and comfortably. The hook ups were in working order. I even got some much needed rain. I checked out the horses, the library, there was a place to make coffee, do laundry. They had information about trails in the area. Maybe I will bring my horses out for a horsey vacation in the future. Thanks for the nice stay.

We were nestled in close to the animals. We could watch the horse and goats play.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sandhill Casita. The cozy quarters, the yard, the birds, and especially the host. We were made to feel very welcome here. If you love birding this place is a must. The yard is full of beautiful birds then it's only a 14 min drive to Whitewater Draw for even more variety of birds. I can't say enough good things about this place and the host. Hila and Tony’s goat ranch is a great location for exploring the area - Tombstone and Chiricahua Monument within an hours drive. They were very welcoming - we enjoyed Tony’s daily drop in chats. It was fun watching the goats, horses, chickens and dogs.

Site #1 electric hookup. Just a short walk to an outdoor port o potty and a sink with fresh running water.

2 nights at Ramsey Canyon Cabins&Bird Sanctuary

Fantastic birding, wonderful trails and a great site. The wildlife and birding was the best in Sierra Vista. Obvious that the hosts love animals, are very knowledgeable with birding, and take such good care of the feeding stations and property. Beautiful area. Lovely hosts. The best Hipcamp venue I have ever visited, and highly recommend to all nature lovers.

Weekend Trip to Silver Spur Homestead

They were fabulous hosts! Greeted us right as we pulled in and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved that there was heat and air, along with coffee and coffee maker! Being that we were fenced in, we could sleep good knowing no wild animals could make way to our tent. Beautiful views and everything was clean and fabulous!

Weekend Trip to Harry and Barbara’s Windmill.

Wonderful home, wonderful host! Make sure you're okay with an outdoor shower and bathroom (shower had great hot water and starry skies). Birds outside are a treat, and very comfortable inside even on warm days. We felt right at home
