Blombery Road Campground

11 sites · RVs, Tents2 acres · Arno Bay, SA
Blombery Road Campground is located just 3km north of the relaxing beach town of Arno Bay. The grounds are set on beautiful, undeveloped coastal land with direct beach access. It's basic, but it's natural, and that's how we like it. And our guests do too! We offer unpowered sites closer to the beach and powered sites set back from the beach on a slight rise with a view. Both options have access to our shared toilet and hot shower facilities. We also have two ensuite sites where you can enjoy your own private ensuite with a flushing toilet, hot water shower, and power. The land here is very sandy in parts, with low scrub in some areas, but access to most sites is still good for all types of vehicles. There is also plenty of space for larger vehicles to turn around, and to park boats etc. Children under 12 stay free, however, please ensure they are still booked in as we need to cap our total camp capacity at 20 people at any one time due to the delicate nature of the grounds. This also helps keep the campground quiet and relaxing for everyone.

Hipcamp provide very helpful Hipcamper information on their website if you want to understand the difference. We are new, and the site is still settling in to its purpose, the lawn is still growing and there are some soft spots. We are proving wheel boards to assist. Situated at the foothills of stunning Victor Harbor, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Cooinda Retreats RV Park and Campground comprises of 11 dedicated sites, all with a unique aspect of bushland and ocean views. Cooinda Retreats is a multipurpose site, with group accommodation and RV/Camp Stays. There will be times that both services are in place, it makes the site uniquely wonderful. Please keep this in mind. You will need to be predominantly self contained, with new portable showers and toilets conveniently located throughout the park for those requiring as a back up. Best to bring your own toilet paper, as these facilities are an added bonus in a self contained stays environment, although we do maintain them to a clean standard.☺️ The Council of Victor Harbor provide a Dump Point approx 3 Kms from our stays park. Currently electricity is not available, this will happen in phase 2. Each site has water supply and grey water to surface is allowed. You will need to take your rubbish away with you as we don't provide a rubbish service. Spacious lawned areas designated to your group are provided and your support in maintaining this is appreciated, as we don't allow floor mats on established lawn areas. Each site is specific to size requirements of your RV and camping outfit, please take note of the sizes in site details as not all sites are suitable for large vans, some are suitable for campers and tents only. Please check the details before booking. We offer an extensive Camp Kitchen, which will be shared amongst all guests. This truly is Victor Harbor's best kept secret. While only a few minutes from the township, you will feel the beauty of nature and the serenity of ocean views. Maintaining a balance of nature and activity means that we have a no noise policy after 10:30pm. We cant wait to see you, this is really something special!
